Perfect choice! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Functional but flimsy *by N***X on 17 May 2024* I bought this unit to display small items such as coins and medals while I film them. It is reasonably good for doing that. The unit looks like a big ice hockey puck with a surface area a little bit larger than a CD. It has controls to change the direction of rotation and the speed. It can be powered in three different ways- by micro-USB cable (e.g. by mains or power bank)- a cable is included, by AAA batteries (although the enclosed leaflet says this is not recommended) or by an 18650 rechargeable battery which is not included. Inevitably there is a bit of motor buzz but it is overall pretty quiet. But there are a couple of things to keep in mind... First, the turntable part is only fixed at the centre, like a record player. There is no support on the outer part of the turntable. There is a gap between the turntable and the main body of the unit. The gap is only about 1mm but it does mean there is a bit of a wobble which is very noticeable when filming up close. To reduce this, it is generally best to keep things as close to the centre as possible, with the weight evenly distributed and with as low a centre of gravity as possible (nothing on tall thin stands, for example). Second, you get what you pay for. The unit feels pretty flimsy and although the description says it will support up to 3kg that feels pretty optimistic. There is no case or anything, so keep the box it comes in to keep the unit safe when storing it. Overall, it's OK for its purpose- tabletop display and filming of small items- and the multiple power options are useful, but keep expectations low.
