Life changing
Iโm currently going through The Mountain Is You with my girlfriend, and Iโve got to say, this book is far more than just a good read. Itโs both life-changing and life-altering. The way it breaks down self-sabotage, growth, accountability, and emotional awareness has opened the door to some incredibly deep conversations and a much greater understanding of one another. Whether youโre working on yourself, trying to heal, grow emotionally, or strengthen a relationship, I genuinely cannot recommend this book enough. Every chapter feels like someone turned the lights on in a room you didnโt even realize was dark. Absolutely solid from beginning to end.

Absolutely life-changing
Reading this absolutely helped me finally take the initiative to change the course of my life. The insights provided in this book are worth coming back to reread over and over, and that's exactly what I have been doing. This may be one of the few times where I will absolutely purchase this book digitally, audiobook, *and* paperback, and highlight/clip everything in it! Seldomly has a self-help book really get through to me as much as this book has. Highly recommend to everyone!

No wasted words
This author really gets to the grit of how our minds, feelings and purpose intersect and how to distinguish each process to create a better functioning whole self. I really appreciated that she didnโt use a ton of psycho babble while also still explaining certain functions scientifically. And that she creates a sense of accessibility to becoming a better version of oneself instead of the way some books try to motivate the reader with โpunishingโ mindsets and vocab. She basically just informs you that your own best self is inevitable and why that is. 10/10 stars, I left a ton of notes, highlights, and Iโll probably reread it often

Viel uit elkaar!
Slechte kwaliteit van het boek. De moment dat je het opendoet vallen er al pagina's uit. Daarnaast is het boek ook niet echt inspirerend. Niet zijn geld waard.

Conquering Inner Shadows: A Journey from Self-Sabotage to Sovereignty
"The Mountain Is You" is a profound exploration into the depths of self-sabotage and the pathways that lead to self-mastery. The title itself, evoking imagery of formidable challenges and personal peaks to overcome, sets the tone for the transformative journey the reader is about to undertake. One of the strengths of this book is how it dissects the intricate webs of self-sabotage that many of us unknowingly weave throughout our lives. Whether it's procrastination, self-doubt, or the fears that hold us back, the author delves into the root causes with both empathy and insight. Instead of just offering surface-level advice or quick fixes, the book focuses on a deep understanding of why we act against our best interests and how our past traumas and experiences influence our present behaviors. The transition from understanding self-sabotage to achieving self-mastery is elegantly illustrated through a blend of personal anecdotes, psychological insights, and actionable advice. The reader is not left with mere knowledge but is equipped with practical tools and strategies to commence their journey towards self-mastery. A standout element is the book's emphasis on self-compassion. Instead of advocating for a rigid or overly disciplined approach, the author promotes a journey of self-discovery filled with kindness, understanding, and patience. This perspective is refreshing in an era saturated with self-help books that often stress relentless positivity or an aggressive approach to self-improvement. In conclusion, "The Mountain Is You" is more than just a guide; it's a compassionate companion for anyone ready to face their internal mountains and emerge not just victorious but truly transformed. For those seeking to understand the depths of their self-sabotaging behaviors and are ready to embrace a path of self-mastery, this book is a must-read.
