Glass Retainer Clips, Thumbscrew, Bag of 10

Very sturdy - well designed and well made - extremely pleased. I asked questions and learned the distance between the mounting hole and the threaded screw hole was 3/4 inch. Plus the 3/8 bend. I needed about a one inch between centerlines so I bought these. I then reshaped them to reduce the offset bend and lengthen the distance between the holes to get me an inch. It worked. I put these on my screen door to replace the plastic clips which never pleased me. I have a beautiful commercial bronze screen/storm door. We never use as a storm door, we use year-round as screen door. These hold the screen VERY firmly in place AND they match the commercial bronze in very elegant style. I was impressed at how hard the metal is. These clips are very capable. I also like the Philips slot in the top of the thumb screw. After had tightening, I was able to then tighten just a but more with the screw driver. The screen has never been so secure and looked as good until now! We also have cats so I changed the screen to pet screen with the very heavy duty screen material. With the pet screen and these retainers, the cats can climb the screen with no worry from us. Only needed 8 clips - have 2 spares. Very pleased with this product - recommend to anyone considering use.

I like the design, it's just the poor quality control that knocks these form 5 to 3 stars. I used these to install glass into four different cabinet doors. Each door used ten clips. The design worked well to hold the glass firmly. The issue is the thumbscrew was stripped in some of the clips, not allowing them to be snugged up enough. This wasn't a case of over tightening and stripping it, but a case of what seemed to be the clip having a sloppy, oversized hole. The thumbscrew was very sloppy and loose in the clip and would not tighten at all. Not all the clips were like this, about 1 out of 5, but enough that I had to order an additional bag to replace the ones that would not tighten.

Worked well although the end felt a bit wabble and cheap. However, so far it's doing what I needed and holding up to the kids. A definite upgrade over the plastic ones that came with the furniture.

Bought this product to replace the cheaper plastic clips that were cracking on a Hoosier cabinet we bought a few years ago. It's outstanding, holds solidly, is a breeze to install, and definitely accents the antique look of our cabinet. It holds both the glass and the wooden cabinet door inserts solidly, and will probably hold it securely for a 100 years or more. Great product!

This is the second time i ordered these, and rhey were great the firsr time. But now they were aent without any of the small screws needed to fasten them to the wood. Useless. Sending them back.

Works great. Glass now secure to cabinet door frame. Adjusting screws could have been shorter but at least they won't break over time as the original plastic ones did.

I ordered two packs of these and mounting screws definitely were not included in either one. Not the end of the world, but when the description says "includes mounting screws" and you assume you're paying for mounting screws, I kind of expect mounting screws.

These retainer clips really did the job. We have an old Ethan Allen china cabinet and the rubber retainer strips were completely dried out. When we took out the glass panels for cleaning, the rubber retainer strips would not pop back into the tracks to hold the glass panels in place. After many hours on google and many hours communicating with Ethan Allen we gave up finding rubber or silicone retainer strips. These clips are a perfect replacement and the color blends with the wood on the china cabinet perfectly.
