I picked this up mainly to tackle the condensation that always appears on the windows during the colder months, and I’ve been really impressed with how well it works. Within a few days of using it, I noticed a huge reduction in dampness and that “musty” feeling in the air. Now, after about six months of pretty much constant use, I can say it’s made a real difference, no more waking up to water running down the windows. The tank fills up roughly every 5 days when it’s running continuously, which shows just how much moisture it’s pulling out of the air. It’s really easy to empty and put back in, no mess or hassle at all. The little coloured lights are a nice touch too, they cycle through different colours, creating a bit of an ambient glow, but they’re not too bright to disturb sleep. And if you don’t want the lights on at night, you can just switch them off. One of the best things for me is how quiet it is. I can leave it running overnight in the bedroom and it doesn’t bother me at all, more like a faint hum than a machine running. Despite running it pretty much constantly, it still feels very sturdy and reliable, which says a lot about the build quality. I was so pleased with the results that I ended up buying a second one for the utility room downstairs where the washer and dryer live, and it’s been just as effective there too. For the price, I think it’s a brilliant product, simple, efficient, durable, and it does exactly what you need it to. Highly recommend if you’re battling condensation or damp spots in the home.

Great little Dehumidifier. I bought one of these for my kitchen as there’s no heating in it. It worked brilliantly and clears lots of moisture preventing damp. I liked it so much I bought another one for my living room as one corner was a bit damp. It’s worked really well there too and I’m often surprised at how much moisture it collects. It has a nice light function but I don’t use that much. They do make a noise but it’s not too bad and I just turn them off if I’m downstairs anyway. I tend to use them more at night when I’m upstairs. I highly recommend this product.

Bought for my front room, which is less damp than the rest of my downstairs, so I just got a smaller one for in there. It works ok, doesn’t make a lot of difference to the condensation levels on the window overnight, but I guess the curtains trap the moisture behind. It clearly does take some moisture from the air as it fills with water. It keeps the overall humidity in the room below 60, which is my main concern. It’s easy to use, and easy to empty. I don’t use the coloured lights function, that’s a bit of an unnecessary gimmick, although I put it on at Xmas, just because it was there ha ha. It’s a little on the noisy side for a supposedly ‘ultra quiet’ dehumidifier, probably about as noisy as the 10x bigger one (12l) I have in the other room, but you get used to it. It’s just like having a fan on, noise-wise.

I wasn't sure if this little thing would be any good, but I've been surprisingly impressed by how well-made it is. It hasn't leaked at all and has done a much better job of tackling condensation than I thought it would. Our front door used to drip with water all the time, making the step very wet. Since using this compact dehumidifier, we've barely seen a drip. While it hasn't 100% cured the issue, it has certainly made a massive difference. I empty it every two or three days just to avoid any accidental leaks or spills, though I never let it get completely full. Update: After putting it through some proper use, this little thing is an absolute beast! As you can see from the new video, it does an amazing job for such a small device. It has made a real difference in the living room. The water level shown in the video is from about two and a half days of 24/7 use. It's definitely a great purchase and I highly recommend it!

The room where I hung all my clothes absolutely stunk of damp and mould. I never knew this tiny little monster could devour so much water especially in a room with giant ceilings and a corner house. Extremely efficient. Makes little noise. If anything it sounds like you’re sleeping in a 1st class cabin and the planes silent noises are quietly swaying you to sleep. can’t recommend enough, will get rid of nasty odours, dampness and future mould

I really wasn’t expecting a lot to be honest. I’ve been pleasantly surprised. My home studio is a tiny room in an old Victorian mansion and in the winter it’s chilly and damp. No good at all for oil painting - well the drying of. I expected I’d need a much larger, powerful unit to make a difference - but no it has made a noticeable difference and my oil paintings are touch dry in a day or so, and I can proceed to the next layer. The room feels less damp and cold too. The manufacturer claims the noise level is white noise - my hearing is a wee bit impaired and while the buzz of the unit doesn’t particularly bother me - plus I’m not trying to sleep with it on - I do think for normal hearing folk it may be a bit loud. It does have illumination that gently fades through calming colours - superfluous really -it can be turned off. A unit of this size is also economical and uses far less energy than leaving an oil filled radiator on low constantly. As I emptied just before the tank was full, I cannot comment on the auto shut off once full - the unit seems well made so I expect it works fine. It’s easy to empty and apart from removing the packaging, it’s ready to plug in and start working out of the box. For reference my art studio is approximately 8ft wide and about 15ft long. I’m really pleased with the dehumidifier and recommend on the knowledge this is for very small rooms, a larder, walk in cupboard a small single bedroom.

Dehumidifier works really well, I had 2 of these in different rooms. However I have returned one of them as after 2 months of being used it had become very noisy. The water collection tray is good, I only have to empty it around once a week. The dehumidifier is compact so it’s easy to fit into a room.

Brought two in mid April . But one made a horrible noise beginning of July so had to go. But in time have had them quite, seemed to be efficient as needed emptying regularly. Like all dehumidifiers they quote extraction rate at a higher temperature/ humidity that flat normally is. But does keep damp away. But took a couple of stars off as one went wrong, with a loud rattling noise. Otherwise in summary compact, quite (when working correctly) does the job. Has a blue coloured light display if you want. Shortish life span seems to be a recurring problem in general for dehumidifiers going by reviews, so got a different one to replace the faulty or rather rattling fan type noise. Reasonable price comparison to recognised brands
