Wonderskin Lip Stain – Long Lasting, Waterproof, Lip Tint Peel Off Masque

It's reasonably good. I was thinking the version I got would just be the stain as a lip gloss rather than a treatment, but it's not. I painted it on very thick and evenly, which ideally is done quickly because it will start to dry and patches will start to lift each time you swipe the brush over them. You're supposed to leave it on until it's dry and wipe with a damp cloth, but a thick layer took like 20 minutes to dry so it's not easy to fit into a busy morning. My lips had a lovely and vibrant stain afterwards. As a bonus, the color did not make my teeth appear yellow the way some red/pink colors do. The stain came out with pretty even shading across my lips and faded evenly too, painting it on thick and even is key. I did not apply gloss or anything over it and I don't think the stain would last long if I did. It was still slightly visible after 6 hours or so, and I'm thinking about trying it with a lip liner to increase longevity. Otherwise multiple applications would probably produce a really good result, but that would be a huge effort considering the 20 minute drying time. I should have also brought it out a little further over my natural lip lines as that would have created a fuller looking result on my thin little lips.

Seriously, this lip stain has saved me so much money, time, and effort. I used to wear lip liner every day because I felt like my lips were on the thinner side (especially when chapped), but I always hated how intense and overly precise lip liners looked. It felt like there was never a true in-between shade. It was always either brown or red. I eventually gave up on lip liner because touching it up constantly was annoying, and I was always losing my lip products. Then my mom showed me this lip stain, and I’ve never looked back. At first, I was like “eh, whatever” because there are so many gimmicky, all-the-same lip stains out right now. But she wanted me to try it since she has darker lips and was curious how it would show up on mine. So I tried it. AND SOMETIMES (perhaps more than sometimes) moms really know what they’re talking about. I have NEVER EVER gone back. I usually hate lip stains. They’re always some red, or berry TINT and I just wanted something natural with a hint of flush. Plus, most stains wear off in like an hour. But this one? I’ve repurchased it over and over again. For context, I love going out clubbing. I can apply this around 10 PM before heading out, and when I get home, it’s still on my lips. I usually leave it on my full lips for a minute, then “line” my lips with it like a lip liner for about five minutes. Sometimes I repeat that for more coverage. My go-to is the shade XOXO, but I’ve also tried Beautiful, Adore and Neon Rose. Those were super pigmented. XOXO is my favorite since it feels like my natural lip shade with a half a shade darker and more neutral in a sense to where it works like a contour. I feel like the shade “beautiful” was almost like XOXO but with a bit more “flushness” to it! A natural tone for sure but MORE coverage. Adore was similar in the way of a natural tone but a pink more on the pinkish side! && Neon Rose was a NEON pink and lasted so long I literally woke up the next morning and it was still there. I remember the first time I applied “Neon Rose” and I did it same way I did with XOXO, and the color lasted from the moment I finished my makeup (around 4am) to the moment before I went to bed to do my nighttime routine (6pm.) since then I know now if I want to use neon rose it needs to be like 5 seconds applied seriously. This product lets me go out without carrying a full makeup bag. No touch-ups, no worries about losing lip products at the club. Just throw it on before I leave, throw one lipgloss in my tiny purse and go. I took forever to write this review because every time I use it, I get so excited watching the magic happen that I forget to take a picture. Also, people complain about the peeling part, but who cares? I always just wipe it off. It’s not a big deal when the results are this good. You get so much bang for your buck, especially with bold shades. Yes, it can feel a little dry eventually, but even then it stays opaque and visible. And coming from someone who hates spending more than $5 on makeup or skincare, this is one of the very few exceptions I’ll make. It’s worth every penny. (Top picture is before applying the lip stain, and bottom picture is after applying and leaving the lip stain on for about 1 minute) I will never use another lip product again.

I bought several, and am adding to this review as I take more pictures of my face. (I really hope all the photos upload in the correct order...) 1. Natural--no lip stains, makeup, lip balm, etc. 2. This one is Whimsical, and the color tone didn't work for me. It's really pretty, objectively I love the color, but it brings out all the underlying reds in my face and required me to wear a lot more makeup, and since a big draw of lip stains for me is that I can wear *less* makeup, I ended up returning this shade. However, it had really good, even coverage (except for the spot where you can see I bit my lip and there was extra pigment there), I love that I can apply chapstick over it, and lasted a very long time--when I applied it in the morning there was still a tint of it on my lips the next morning. It's unfortunate that it had to be on for ~5 hours before it was a shade that worked for my face, but if it works for your skin tone then go for it! 3. & 4. Crush. I LOVE this one. The coral is exactly what I wanted. The first is Crush freshly applied, the second is after 8 hours of wear and running a 5k. This one is definitely going to be a regular reorder for me! 5. is XOXO, and I really like this one, it is very natural look. It doesn't last as long as Whimsical or Crush for me, maybe because it is a lighter, more natural stain, it seems to wear off around mid-day if I put it on in the morning and I have to re-apply. But otherwise it's great. 6. Lastly, Divine. This one doesn't go on blue/purple, it goes on blood red. And I mean, vampire-went-on-a-binge blood red. When you wipe it off it leaves behind a nice berry color (half the photo is the blood red, the other half is what's left behind when I wiped it off). This one has the shortest duration of all of them, if I put it on in the morning I noticeably have to reapply it in the afternoon--really can't get away with just letting this one fade. It's pretty, but I won't be re purchasing this particular shade.

As I agree get older, I feel like my lips are losing some color and I haaaaate it. I don't want to do lip blushing and I'm not a lipstick person. I hate my lips feeling dry and have to have some sort of balm or something. Saw Wonder skin lip stain and knew I had to try it. I'll make this quick. Does it work? For me, yeah. I found if you don't exfoliate your lips well prior to using that it WILL adhere even darker to every crack or piece of skin or imperfection. As long as you scrub your lips beforehand, it'll be mostly even. I also found you need to apply it thick - you can control how much you put on but it's easy to get it clumpy. So if you swipe it on thick and then it's a little thinner on in a place so you go to add more to make it even....it'll kind of peel and be weird. You have to make sure everything is applied evenly and thick for it to last...which leads to my biggest gripe. It runs out QUICK. If you used this regularly, it's gone fast. I used mine maybe three times a week and it lasted less than a month. So while I LOVE that it actually stains your lips so you don't need to reapply a lip color/liner...you will go through it very fast. And at the price point, that is rough for me because I'm pretty frugal and don't like to spend a lot of money. Doesn't seem to make my lips sticky or dry. Fades a little blotchy. LOVE the color Whimsical -- it looked prefect on my skin. Not super obvious but still enough color to make me look polished. I really enjoy this stuff but it can be a pain to apply evenly and runs out very quickly.

So best results if you put a clear lipgloss over it. Otherwise the color doesn’t pop. I was very disappointed until I added my Milani clear lipgloss and I’m like dang I like that combo. Also the bottle doesn’t not feel like it has a lot in there and I did 3 lawyers to accomplish this color all waiting a minute long because I wanted the color to be more popping. Overall at this price I probably won’t buy again. Only lasts about 2 hours an it does transfer, my Stanley straw has the proof! Gave 3 because I do like the color adding my clear lipgloss. Forgot to say I got the color charming. UPDATE: they had a sale on wonder skin actual website I changed it from a three star to five star because the ones I got from wonder skin are amazing. It lasted like 7 to 8 hours. It actually is transfer proof so I’m not sure what happened to the one I bought from Amazon, but I decided to update my review because wonder skin lip stain is amazing. I added a photo and that color I got is whimsical it kind of looks like charming but a little bit different. I also got romance and I love romance. I think my three favorite colors are gonna be the ones I got. I’m definitely gonna have to buy charming from the website to get a better idea of color since now I know Amazon sold me a defected product.

I am very happy with this lip stain, I purchased "Demure" by itself and "Whimsical" with the lip spritz. The pictures are of Demure. It's a liquid and goes on metallic blue. I didn't have to get the outline perfect, as you'll see in the pics, my natural lip line is irregular so it looks great. And, when removing, using the spritz lets you peel it off, easy peasy, no scrubbing. The spritz is a tiny bit sweet, so no funky taste on the lips, and it's got a little tingly effect that doesn't last but just a minute. I purchased one full kit with the spritz and one color by itself so I could use the spritz with both, it really improves removal, no irritation for this girl's ultra sensitive skin. The color left my lips looking natural, as if my lips are always that color, nothing indicates it's artificially applied color. Be careful getting the blue stuff on your fingers, it stains fingers too. I recommend using a balm because lips need moisture, but the color sticks and is long lasting, remains for the whole day. Great value because it works! So, if you are a no lipstick person, this is perfect because there's no leftover residue and if you are a lipstick or balm wearer, it's also perfect, just use a gloss or balm, and voila, instant beautiful lips.

This is hands down the first lip product I feel 100% confident wearing! It is extremely easy to use, lasts all day, and gives such a natural look without needing perfect application. Pros: 100% Transfer-Proof & Long-Lasting: Zero smudging and does not transfer onto clothes, cups, or glasses at all! Foolproof & Easy: Extremely simple to apply, with no stress if you go a bit outside the lines before peeling. Natural Look & Great Value: Gives a beautiful, natural stain with a decent amount of product for the money (I've repurchased multiple times!). Important Tips for Best Results: Apply to Clean Lips: Make sure your lips are completely clean with no residue from other cosmetics, oils, or balms, or the stain won't stick properly! Shades run different than photos: The online guide photos aren't 100% accurate. For my light skin with warm undertones, Wham and Romance ended up being great fits. Hydrate After: It can be a bit drying, so just dab some Vaseline or lip balm on right after peeling off the mask.

I have been using this lip stain for a few months and my opinion is mixed. This definitely does stain the lips in a beautiful color and I always put a gloss over it. It applies quite easily and I take if off with a baby wipe, as I have found it to work the best rather than a wet q tip or something else. It looks nice immediately after application and maybe for a few hours. But then it starts to look pretty bad in my opinion. I have included some pictures of how it looks before, during and after application. After a few hours you are left with either a very patchy looking color or only what looks like lip liner. I use this lip stain when I am attending something where I want to look nice but know I won’t have to have it on for hours upon hours, as I would not be comfortable with how it wears throughout an ENTIRE day. It is definitely not for true long wear in my experience. I will continue to use on occasion but I do not see myself repurchasing this.

Je n'ai jamais écris d'evaluation auparavant... Mais ce produit et le services a la clientèle est exceptionnelle et mérite d'être exposer à tous. Tout d'abord, pour le produit, c'est définitivement un produit que je recommande. Cela prend tout au plus une minute le matin et la teinture dure TOUTE LA JOURNÉE!! Même que mes lèvres étaient encore teinté le lendemain matin, malgré le brossage de dents un nettoyage de mon visage! Les ingrédients sont relativement bien et non néfaste pour la santé... Juste WOW! Ensuite, le produit que j'ai reçu était défectueux, il manquait le cap interne pour contrôler la sortie du produit. Verdict: le produit sortait en quantité fénoménal, coulait du tube et sèchait (perte de produit). J'ai écris à la compagnie directement et j'ai eu une réponse en tout juste 24h. En 48h j'avais la confirmation qu'il m'en envoyait un autre en guise de compensation! Je n'ai rien de négatif a dire sur Wonderskin... Ça change complètement le look du quotidien et c'est super facile à utiliser... Si tu hésite, je te le recommande vivement!!!
