Smart Caregiver Economy Cordless Fall Monitor and Cordless Floor Mat Sensor Bundle with Pouch of 30 Cleaning Wipes

We ordered this mat for the floor at my mother's bedside. It has relieved so much of our stress! My mother is 89 and has Altzeimer's and we take care of her 24/7 at our home. We were only using a baby monitor prior to getting this mat and between three of us were very sleep deprived! Thankfully, she doesn't wander and is mostly immobile as her disease progresses, but she sometimes forgets that she falls easily, loses her balance or her legs just don't work like they used to. The only thing that I wish we could change was the tone of the chime, it is more like a loud piercing doorbell even at the lowest setting but it certainly wakes us up when Mom's feet touch the pad. We are in her room across the house quickly after hearing the "chime" and I'm sure she wonders sometimes if we are sleeping outside her bedroom because we're there so quickly to ease her fear or help her to the bathroom. We've told others that we know with similar circumstances about this product, it trully is a wonderful thing to have.

Husband with dementia,so ordered mat. It took me awhile to get use to but came to be very dependent on waking me when he started to get up. We have tile floors and this mat saved more then one fall. A week ago mat stopped working. Contacted customer support and had part in one day. Would recommend this product.

This product was a lifesaver. As a caregiver I could get a better night's sleep knowing if Mom got up I would be immediately alerted.

Great product idea for my needs, but instructions were unclear and incomplete. Called Customer Service, and the young man was super patient and supportive. He walked me completely through the programming process. After a couple of weeks of use, the mat stopped working. Changed batteries, but didn't fix the problem. Need to call Customer Service again for more help. Disappointed that the product stopped working so quickly after receiving it...especially for the price. Will update after making my call to the company.

This was purchased for my father with Alzheimer’s to prevent falls. We have had two ER trips with staples and stitches in his head until we purchased this. We had to follow instructions to set the mat but they were easy to follow. I highly recommend buying the adapter for the portable chime so you don’t have to worry about batteries. (The mat on the floor has no plugin wire which is great! It is wireless!) The “low” mode chime is a great volume level, it is not piercing and a calming chime but loud enough to wake you. My mom uses the chime mode at her bedside and brings it in another room when he naps. It is GOD SENT! She just has to remember to turn it back on in the middle of the night after she assists him. (We also use a baby video monitor in addition). EXCELLENT product! Highly recommended and puts the caregiver at ease. This has changed my life at night as a caregiver!

This is a wonderful product. I care for my father who has frequent falls at night. Since purchasing he has not fallen due to the alerts. I can hear it alarm wherever I am because the box is mobile. I am a nurse as well and would recommend this to anyone caring for someone at home.

It does the job. I was using a bed alarm, but that was tricky. You had to position it just so, and we didn't want my dad to know it was there so he wouldn't get paranoid or fidget with it. ( He has Parkinson's) It worked for a while with a horrifying alarm sound! Eventually it was going off every other minute ! Soni gave the floor mat a try. The alarm box is huge( outdated ) but you do have some sound options. I hope this review makes some sense, because I'm deleriously tired after getting up to numerous alarms. This floor mat alarm is exactly what we needed. My Mom isn’t great on her feet since she had a stroke. She is high risk for a fall. This alarm lets me sleep at night knowing I will be alerted the second she steps out of bed. It is simple to set up, easy to use and extremely reliable. Still on the first set of batteries after six weeks of constant use. Can’t think of anything better for her safety and my sanity!
