Awesome compact sleeping pad, easy to use!
Just got my Last Lake sleeping pad and I have to say I'm impressed and looking forward to using it on my next trip.Pros:+Nicely packaged in own cinching sack. Quality seems durable.+Lightweight and compact enough for most backpacking trips+Includes heavy duty Velcro strap to keep it tightly rolled+Inflates quickly!+Deflates quickly. I folded in half lengthwise and rolled and easily got it rolled tighter than it was when I received ever it. Used the Velcro strap and got it right back in the sack with no effort. When does that ever happen!+ Surprising amount of support and comfort in a thin, non-bulky mat+Good length, I'm 5'8" and it is great. Would be perfect for someone up to 6'+ Slipped easily into my mummy sleeping bag and didn't take up too much room like my current mat does. Might actually be able to turn over in my bag without getting stuck!+ Includes repair patch ATTACHED to sack which is awesome because it won't get lost.+Colors are nice, quality seems great. Valve seems dependable. Time will tell...can't wait to use!+ Warmth (she says optimistically)?? Hoping this pad is a lot warmer than my current very lightweight, tiny, inflatable pad that I freeze my butt off with. This style of pad usually is, and this Last Lake pad is much more compact than those options.Cons:-May not be suitable for someone really tall? My husband is 6'2" and he liked it. Would work well for him with his inflatable pillow also in his bag.- For really lightweight, longer backpacking trips where space and weight are an issue it may be a tad large BUT the r factor (warmth) may be there versus some of the lighter weight pads. It's a personal choice.Summary: This pad seems awesome, and especially for the price! I'll post another review after I use it but based on what I've already seen and the other sleeping pads I've been through, I will already recommend this to my friends.

Smaller than I would like but easy to use and compact.
Compact and easy to use. I was able to fold and roll the pad smaller than it actually came. My only complaint is the actual size of the pad. I am 6'1" and 210# and this pad felt short and narrow for me. When laying on it, I felt as though my heels were laying just off of the pad causing me to put a folded sweatshirt at the bottom. In retrospect, I should have opted for something a little larger but was looking for something smaller for backpacking. It short, it works and is nice, just smaller than I would like. Trade offs for packing.

Customer Service, Quality, Thickness
The first time I went camping with this Last Lake sleeping pad, it had an issue as the top and bottom layers separated, which led to having a big air bubble in the middle and no air elsewhere (I spent a fairly bad night). After contacting Last Lake about this defective product, I received a new one very quickly, and I've been using it for the past 6 months now, it is a very good sleeping pad.I used to own a Thermarest sleeping pad, but this Last Lake sleeping pad is of really good quality and has a very nice thickness that makes camping even better. I definitely recommend buying it, and their customer service is awesome!

To big for thru hiking but would work for car campers
This product depends on user intent. For through hikers it just takes entirely to much pack space and the weight is a bit much. I wasn't expecting it to be so large thou. Also it came with no instructions on how to use the self inflate feature. At the end of a big day I just want camp to be easy so I wouldn't recommend this product for that. Car camping sure space is not a problem or just for a emergency pad, why not. It wasn't bad to lay on , maybe a extra inch of thickness would be nice. As far as hiking you can see it next to a traditional air pad and its 4 times the size and double the weight

High quality, lightweight, durable -- perfect for backpacking and dispersed camping
I bought this product to use on civilian backpacking camping trips. I was looking for a light weight solution that would be easy to transport by foot on multi-day backpacking trips for "dispersed camping" as the National Forest Service calls it. I am very, very impressed with this product. It is the right size, very portable and light weight, and yet thick enough to do exactly what it's supposed to do -- insulate you from the ground. It's a self-inflating mat that you unroll and open the valve, wait a minute for the air to enter, and then close the valve. Don't blow into the mat or you'll eventually break it when you lie on it as these devices are not meant to be inflated in that manner.VERY easy to set up, and also very easy to break down and roll up as well. Comes with a handy sack for storage (fold in half and roll to fit into the sack) and a nice cinch cord you can use to keep it rolled up. When backpacking, I transport my sleeping mat on top of my bag and this rolls wide enough to do so if you don't fold it in half.Affordable price as well. 5 stars.

Sore no more!
I was able to get a good nights sleep thanks to this sleeping pad. I have back issues and normally sleep is hard for me when camping. Not with the Last Lake Camping pad! I got great sleep and did not wake up sore.

Highly recommended!
I bought this sleeping pad and used it once. I had such a great experience that one night that I bought it again so I could have a back up. It takes up a respectable amount of space and makes nights easy to get through. FYI, I've been sleeping on this pad 3 nights a week for the last 2 months and am perfectly satisfied with the quality of sleep I've been getting, which is much better than I was anticipating!

Nice!
I’ve used this maybe 10 times. It’s quite nice. It’s pretty roomy and it doesn’t make the dreaded crinkle sounds all night. I just open it up at camp so 8t can self inflate and then before bed I blow a few puffs of air into it and close it up. I didn’t have my hips digging into the ground and I could sleep on my side quite comfortably.
