Those elastic bands from Hoodman are too expensive and really don't work very well, according to several reviewers. I want to use adhesive to attach this loupe to my D810's snap-on screen protector which is made of plastic, but I'm unsure which adhesive would be best for this task. I will do some more research on this and may post an updated review. The advantage would be my Hoodman loupe being more securely attached to my D810, held in place by the snap-on points of the Nikon BM-12 screen protector, which also makes it removable when I want to use just the screen without a loupe...or I could just unclip and remove the eyepiece portion of my Hoodman H32MB loupe, leaving just the base still attached.
