Good protection outweighs the key variations
First off, this keyboard is quite good! The touch is definite, ....BUT it is highly sensitive, and many of the keys are in different locations from the standard keyboards.......that said, once you get used to the key placements, it works!I notice sensitivity to random touches which seem to displace the cursor and must be very observant of what appears after a keystroke, or I must erase a long row of jibberish where the cursor popped up at random.I have yet to figure why I would need the screen to swivel at all.BUT it is the best neatest tidiest iPadMini case I have, and Ive purchased several so far. I have two iPadMinis, and this is the only case with a keyboard, which makes it quite convenient, even with the unstandard set of keys. I figure I will get used to the locations of the keys I normally use.In typing this, Ive made various corrections, may fail to correct others....but forgive me. Dont let your hand move too far off the keys, or the cursor will disappear unexpectedly. It is worth trying however. At the time I type this, I cannot locate the apostrophe key.....thus its absence where I use contractions.....but no time now to learn its location. THAT is an example of the issues you will encounter. My hands are not small, they are used to hard work, have some age related neuropathy affecting the sensitivity of my fingertips....but younger folks should fly through their typing. When the case is closed, it presents a solid protection for the tiny iPadMini. It does not fall open accidentally, and the white one I chose stays pristine even when I sweat. Since you WILL make typos, learn first where the DELETE key is on the keyboard.....and be ever mindful of that aggravating CURSOR which can jump without provocation!!!! As more apps allow dictation input, this keyboard issue shoould be less and less as we learn to dictate to the Mini. The case gives good protection to the Mini, and that is of primary importance. I slide it into my bag with no problem alongside my wallet, and even my car keys cannot scar the screen of the Mini. There is a learning curve to remembering where the keys are now found--like the apostrophe, which I seem to use a lot, but I just found it so will practice a bit to see how quickly my hands remember that particular motion.

AWESOME KEYBOARD
I've used other keyboard cases before and liked them for those specific iPads, but this one works perfectly with my iPad Mini. I had a minor issue—most likely due to user error, NOT a flaw in the product itself. The support team was fantastic and responded within just a few hours. They helped me out, and everything is working perfectly now. Like I said, the issue wasn’t with the product. Highly recommend this keyboard case! Thanks GreenLaw CS Team.

Okay so far
So far it is working out well. The hinge is a little stiff on opening. Others have said it has broken on them so I am careful when opening. However, I suspect this stiffness aids in keeping it in whatever position you put it.My first keyboard for my iPad was a Fintie. It quit after a year but was inexpensive so I bought another. That one only lasted 5 months. I’m hoping this one lasts longer. It seems like better quality. Only time will tell.

Almost perfect case for the iPad Mini BUT exterior material texture is fingerprint grease magnet
If the exterior of this keyboard/touchpad case for the iPad Mini wasn't that soft, fake velvet, this would be THE BEST ipad mini kb/tp case on amazon. based on the pics, i thought the external materials were either a hard plastic or a aluminum looking plastic, however it is very similar to what another prev case of similar design.the keyboard works great, small keys but this is for an ipad mini so to be expected. they have decent travel, nice click to them (similar to a macbook pro kb but smaller). backlit keys with 7 colors, and 3 brightness levels.touchpad is great, does multi finger gestures, smooth navigation, no stuttering. has a click mechanism built-in or you can turn on Tap to Click in iPadOS settings.Swivel is very solid feeling, case it also well built feeling.Again, this case is perfect except for the external material used. if this was just a basic matte plastic exterior, i'd give this a 5 / 5 anyday but the exterior is going to be a fingerprint magnet with time and most likely will wear bad (i can see grease stains already on it which again sucks cuz besides the materials, this is a GREAT KB AND CASE!!)@GreenLaw, if you are listening. NEVER USE THAT MATERIAL EVER AGAIN ON ANY CASE. that soft rubber will in less than a year start wearing off and will look horrible. just make the case a hard plastic. id rather add a vinyl later to hide scratches than have a case w/tons of grease stains and the case flaking off (i have used things w/this same material and long term they get sticky, look horrible, age badly)

Good case/keyboard with a few minor issues.
iPad mini fits well; swivel mechanism is good but the closed case is more of a wedge to allow the rotational-hinge . The manual is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to have due to complex multiple-key combinations - I scanned into a pdf to allow storage on iPad with increased readability of the small print. the access to the iPad USB-C port is too small, OK for a charging cable but not most of my flash drives. Delivery was very fast and unit was well packaged.
