Where is Diamond Naturals dog food manufactured?  Does any of it come from China?

as per their website:Diamond Pet Foods owns its own manufacturing facilities. We have four plants, all located in the United States. Our original plant and home of Diamond Pet Foods headquarters is located in central Missouri. The other three plants are located in northern California, central California and South Carolina. No matter where you live, you will be purchasing food made in one of these three plants.

Would this be good food for a Pitbull terrier ?

I have a Staffordshire bull terrier which is very close to a pitbull terrier. He just loves the lamb and rice food. And has no problems with it and I would recommend it to anyone who wants their pup to enjoy their food.

We have been feeding our 9 year old, 80+ lb yellow lab this food for over a year now. She is really sensitive to wheat and corn so we love that this food not only doesn't have that, but includes things that really benefit larger breeds. She digests it well and gobbles it up happily. Her weight is great (which was always an issue with other foods) and I like that it's made here in the US. We also love that it is affordable compared to so many of the grain-free foods out there I'd prefer to feed her. I feel like it's certainly the 'next best thing' because we can actually afford to buy it all of the time. We switch back and forth between the Large breed Lamb and Rice and the Large Breed Chicken and Rice simply because I think a varied diet is beneficial.

what is the fat and protein % ?

I did a google search for the best dry dog foods. Diamona Lamb and Rice for adults was in the top 10. It has 23% protein and 14% fat. None of the other Diamond labels were mentioned.  Most dry foods didn't make the list due to the corn and wheat that's in them that's not suppose to be good or any use to dogs.  Hope this helps.
