Not M4 size.
My schedule has been a little crazy, so I did not discover this until after the return window had closed, but these turnbuckles are NOT M4 size. They have a 4 stamped into the casting, but they are M5 size threads.

Used for clothesline tensioning
Ordered a pack of 6 and received a pack of 6. All in working order. I use these to keep clothesline wire (stout galvanized baling wire) from sagging. Works perfectly. No more sagging clothesline. Laundry dries 14.28% faster now.

Strong and Easy to Use
Easy to use/install. I use these for my Zipline Shooting System to tighten the cord to pull the target in and/or further away. Works great!!!

Worked as described and used it for my patio.

Well built
So after previously having 2 sunshades and using the included generic cast metal hardware that eventually failed either by rusting or actually breaking, I decided to use all stainless steel this time around. Using what I learned the first time, I couldn't be happier with the finish of these turnbuckles. I used CARABINER - THESE 2 EYE TURNBUCKLE - ANOTHER CARABINER - D RING OF SUNSHADE. All ratcheted super taut. Very happy with the size and quality of these.
