Product description These were made using a brand 3D printers with PLA plastic. Primer may be necessary in order for paint to adhere properly. Made in Great Britain. ** This models designed by Iain Lovecraft and manufactured by Quality Printing 3D Ltd. for QP3D Wargames under the terms of a commercial license. Directions 1. Remove the miniature building from its packaging. 2. Assemble the parts following the instructions provided. 3. Apply a primer (recommended) to facilitate painting. 4. Paint the miniature building with the colors of your choice. 5. Allow to dry before playing. Review: A Smaller Ruin, But Useful... - QP3D's Ruined Citadel Collection features some very nice pieces, made of good quality PLA and at better prices than most plastic gaming scenery. All the sets in the Ruins collection match each other architecturally, allowing them to be combined to make an entire ruined citadel. This one may not be the largest or most impressive, but it can be very useful for filling corners between runs of other walls and lines of arches. Also, it has a raised upper level (where the winged Demoness is in the picture) which can support three to four 'human' sized miniatures without them being crammed ridiculously. Primer applies perfectly to the PLA (I use Vallejo surface primer) and any decent acrylics of choice can be used for painting. (I use Vallejo Game and Reaper Master Series). The cute Half-Demon sisters in the first image are a 32mm and a 28mm figure respectively, to give some scale. The second image shows assorted QP3D Ruin elements combined - this one is at the front to the right with the blue Demon girl in front of it. Review: Thank you - Another piece from you which is going into my Osgiliath build of my campaign Thank you

Little and needs painting
Would be good for a battle scene but I bought it for my fish tank as I wanted a fake wall to finish off the design. It didn't work as its so little it floats. Also more clarification on the fact it need painting. It is in there now ive gone back and looked but it should be made much clearer.

3D Future
I am amazed with the way that technology is used. At the beginning 3D printing and machine cut plastics was expensive, now there are countless companies producing affordable goods to the market. On application has been grasped by QP3D and that is scenery for D&D games. You can play RPGs on the computer or in the imagination, but also on the tabletop. To make these games more visceral, having models and scenery helps. QP3D have a range of to scale items and scenery to fit with your game. The models I have are your standard Warhammer size and that is perfect. I have the ruined building, ruined pillars and barrels set. They all fit in with one another and my models. The printing is details and crisp. The models are light, and all come in a grey, but they are matt enough that if you should want to paint them, they will only require a small amount of primer for you to paint. The price for all these sets is so much lower than I used to pay back in the day as QP3D are taking advantage of cheaper techniques and materials and passing on some of the savings to us. I can kit out a whole table for a third of what I would have.

Finely detailed and good quality
If anything has made me want to invest in a 3D printer, this would be it! The look and feel is superb with the detailing in keeping with our DnD table top gaming. There are lines from the printer which is to be expected and not really an issue. Just use a decent base and with successive layers the lines soften out, become less noticeable and certainly don’t take away from the fine detailing. Paint had no problem adhering to the plastic and with the same patience you would use on figures, you can get a good quality finish. Now I have had my hands on this piece, I will be looking for more from the supplier.
