VAKUEN Premium Airtight Food Storage Containers & Vacuum Sealer Machine Starter Set, 4-piece Container with Sealer, 100% Leak Proof,Keep food fresh up to 5 times longer than non-vacuum strorage.

This is a 4 piece set of Vakuen containers. I have been using Vakuen for a while, having learned about them through Korean homekeeping vlogs. I realized I was losing so much money by throwing away produce that it made sense for me to invest in these containers that promised to keep produce fresh for longer. I have been very happy with these containers that although not inexpensive are worth it for me. They are easy to use, you pop in the button on top and then use the vacuum sealer (which I had purchased earlier with a set of containers.) The containers themselves are lightweight and easy to hold and store. The lids fit perfectly. Although the parts are dishwasher safe, I live in an area with hard water and I don't want etching, so I wash them by hand. The containers can be used to store raw fruit and vegetables, nuts, flour, grains, rice, really anything you want, they are quite versatile and extend the life of the foodstuff tremendously. I highly recommend this product.

I recently purchased the Vakuen airtight food storage container, and I couldn't be more impressed! The smart one-click seal lid is a game-changer – no hinges, just a simple press down to lock and lift up to open. I love how this is also 100% leak proof! What I love most is its versatility; it's not just a container but a multi-use solution. For daily use, it keeps my food ingredients airtight, and for long-term storage, I pair it with the Vakuen vacuum pump to keep my food fresh for much longer. These are especially perfect for storing my homegrown vegetables and herbs. It keeps them remarkably fresh for an extended period, thanks to its airtight seal and compatibility and the vacuum pump. Now, my garden produce stays crisp and flavorful much longer than with ordinary containers. It's a must-have for anyone who enjoys preserving the freshness of their homegrown goodies! The container is made of high-quality BPA-free and food-grade plastic, along with eco-friendly purifying treated platinum silicone. It's not only durable and crystal clear but also stain and odor resistant. Plus, it's safe for the microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer – making it incredibly convenient for any kitchen. If you want a top-notch product that combines versatility and quality, look no further than Vakuen!

I was looking for an efficient way to organize my kitchen and reduce food waste when I came across the VAKUEN 4-piece vacuum storage system. I decided to give it a try and overall have been really happy with the product after using it . The electric vacuum sealer was surprisingly easy to use right out of the box. It has intuitive buttons and I didn't even need to read the manual to start sealing food. It removes nearly all the air from storage bags and containers, keeping food fresher for longer. I waste less produce and leftovers now. The BPA-free plastic containers are durable and stack perfectly to maximize fridge organization. They also look sleek on the countertop during meal prep. Meat stored in the freezer and veggies in the fridge last noticeably longer before spoiling or getting freezer burn. And I love how compact bundles of food become after vacuuming the air out. The VAKUEN system was an affordable kitchen upgrade that makes meal planning and storage simpler. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting an effective food freshness solution. The vacuum sealer totally optimizes the containers and bags. Five stars for food preservation, and five stars overall .

This 8-piece VAKUEN set is a significant step up from standard plastic storage. The "Mercury Color" special edition looks sleek and high-end in the pantry, and the build quality of the containers is top-notch. The **patented double silicone lining** creates a serious seal; even without the vacuum, they are truly **100% leak-proof**. I’ve used them for soups and sauces without a single drop escaping. Being BPA-free and easy to clean is also a major plus. The included electric vacuum pump definitely helps keep produce and leftovers fresh for noticeably longer—I’ve seen a real difference in how long my greens stay crisp compared to standard containers. The only reason I’m giving this four stars instead of five is the consistency of the electric pump. While it’s much easier than a manual version, it can be a bit finicky to get a perfect seal every time. You have to ensure the pump is seated exactly right over the valve, and occasionally it takes a few tries before it actually starts drawing the air out properly. If the alignment is off even slightly, it just runs without creating a vacuum. Overall, it’s a premium, high-functioning set that looks great and offers superior freshness. If you have a little patience for getting the pump positioned correctly, these are some of the best containers that I've used.

UPDATE: After the 3 star review, a representative from Vakuen contacted me and apologized for the defective piece. They shipped me a brand new one which arrived in two days. I am very happy with the solution. As I wrote in my review, I like the storage containers. I have put crackers in them that are still crispy after two months. FIVE STARS now. I received my 8 piece set in July. I've been quite happy with it, not fully using all parts yet while we've been away from home. One of the lids wasn't sealing. Today I noticed that it has a crack in it. I've been hand washing this set from the beginning so I'm not sure when this happened or if it arrived this way.

It's a difficult choice SEEE FINAL EDIT ....These containers look very sturdy. I like the clear plastic, but am concerned about scratching over time. I am thinking about going to the glass containers from Zw.... but those are much heavier and possibly less durable if dropped. I will purchase one or two containers of each and test over time. I can't afford both systems complete with their individual vacuum pumps. Thankfully, I have a Food saver machine and will adapt it's vacuum to use with both containers. If you would like to adapt the Vakuen, I use a prescription pill bottle with a rubber band as a gasket and hole in the center of the bottom. Use a cheap adaptor from amazon to connect to the pill bottle. I plan to follow up after testing UPDATE: After testing, both are a quality products. The Zwilling in glass is sturdy, but the lid and seal is very thick and reduces space in the container. I like the Vakuen lid , seal, and vacuum valve much better than Zwilling. Zwilling has a better selection and a handy app to keep track of your stored food. Zwilling also has plastic containers available. The weakness of both systems is in the gaskets and vacuum valve. I have inquiries in to both companies to see if spare replacements are available. Neither showed replacements on their websites. This may be my deciding factor. EDIT 12/18/24: Neither company would sell seals or lids, but both offered warranty. So that didn't help me decide, however, I did have a seal failure on the Vakuen container. One lid seal kept failing at a corner. After contacting Vakuen and sending receipt and photos, they promptly sent a complete replacement container. So the Vakuen failed, but they did stand behind it. Although this was still within the return window, not a year or 2 later. UPDATE 03/25/2025 : Zwilling valve plugs are small, become loose and tend to fall out and get lost after using for 4 months. Unfortunately , they are not available for sale as a part and are not warrantied for loss. I did call Zwilling and they agreed to send me a new lid as one time goodwill gesture. This helps this time, but next time I will have to buy a whole new container, because the loose valve fell out. I encouraged Zwilling to sell the valves on their website. UPDATE 05/13/2025 I wanted to recommend the Vakuen. I like the look, feel, and size, but every container seal fails at the corners. The seal inverts under vacum and leaks. The Zwilling lids and seals are so thick that they take up container space, but they are a dependable seal and that's the critical feature of the container TO HOLD VACUM. So I have to recommend the ZWILLING containers. They make both glass and plastic, although the plastic appears to be frosted rather than clear. I will be ordering and trying the Zwilling plastic containers as well as the glass. EDIT 6/2025 ONLY LASTED 6 MONTHS AND EVERY CONTAINTER CRACKED WON'T EVEN HOLD LIQUID LET ALONE A VACUM.

Love these! With two kids, I’m always storing leftovers and snacks, and these keep everything fresh so much longer. Super easy to use, no leaks, and they stack perfectly in the fridge. I’ve noticed my veggies and fruit stay crisp for days, and even soups don’t spill when I pack them for lunch. They also look really nice on the counter, which is a bonus. Already saving money by not throwing food away. The quality feels really durable, and I can tell these will last me a long time. Honestly, I wish I had bought them sooner!

VAKUEN Premium Airtight food container is superb in function and design. I love using this containers for do meal prep, store salads, and fruits. Definitely keep veggies and fruits fresh longer than anyother containers. It’s made by reliable-well known company in Korea, and most popular brand in the same category. I was enjoying using those until very recently, using about 5 months, my vacuum sealer having a problem charging. (No charging light, No vacuuming) W/O sealer, the container loose the functionality which I paid for $100 worth. I have contacted product support team, and waiting if there is any warranty on this. I will update the product review after the support.

Amazing quality and vacuum function

Happy with my purchase. Getting more sizes.
