Thule Accent Backpack 23L, TACBP116 , Black

This backpack is the perfect size for air travel. I fly cross country several times a month for work and this bag is the perfect size to carry on. It holds everything I like to carry (iPad, headphones, a few snacks, jacket/change of clothes) without being too big/bulky or having too many zippers/pockets/straps/etc.Every feature on this bag is well thought out and designed for someonw who wants something functional without being too flashy. The pictures here on amazon do a great job of showing it’s features. The entire bottom is padded in addition to the laptop pocket having padding all around, that was a nice surprise.Right now there is nothing I would change about this bag.For reference I’m 5’8” and the 23L fits perfectly.4 year update: I still use this bag very frequently. Since I wrote the review I now have a new job that requires even more frequent travel (at least 8 flights per month) and I use this bag every time. There is very little wear even after so much use. One side of the sternum strap came off and was lost at some point, but I never used it any way.I still think this bag is a perfect size and has just enough organization for the efficient traveler.

This was worth every penny. The insides are a bright blue color so it is easier to find things in the bottom of the bag. The outside is well made with nice even stitching, sturdy and expensive looking fabric. I bought this for my husband for work since he commutes and travels a lot, it was his favorite Christmas gift which is saying a lot! Considering buying one for myself I was so impressed.

Solidly built and durable. The interior padding on the laptop case makes you feel comfortable setting it down quickly. It stands up on it's own which isn't a big deal but I find useful. Feels like this thing can take a beating and your stuff will be safe. It's a little stiff still a month into owning it, but I think that's just down to the outer shell being so durable. I like this bag.

This is a good size backpack. I use it for work and travel a lot. I usually travel with a laptop, iPad and Bose headphones in the bag along with a few files. I tend to put my laptop charger in luggage as it can get tight with this in the bag. The sunglasses protector on top in a nice touch. The strap on the back that allows you to place on a roller luggage handle was a must for me and works great. The only thing I would change is the mash water bottle pouch. This has already started to wear from the metal refillable bottle I carry. The overall quality of the rest of the bag is terrific.

I have used North Face bags for years. I wanted to change it up. I use this bag for work and this one looks much more professional. Also, the 23L bag seems more spacious than my 28L north face borealis bag and I have more room for my legs when i put it under the seat in front of me. The hard pouch for glasses is a great idea, and there's a hidden pocket underneath that.

I really like this backpacks design. It has plenty of space for my laptop and a good bit of other things in the main pocket. The top zipper is nice for sunglasses and small items that need to be easily accessible. My only concern is the zippers. They are a pretty stiff. Hopefully they’ll last. Overall I’m happy with this backpack.

This backpack is poorly designed. The designers obviously didn't try out their own product. When you put a laptop in with the bag mostly empty, the laptop will bounce against your back when you walk. There should have been a Velcro strap to cinch the laptop down so it doesn't bounce. Also the side pocket zipper is difficult to zip because the pocket has no structure and there is no tab to hold the pocket to prevent distortion when zipping.

I have 3 different Thule backpacks and a satchel. Everything they make is amazing quality. This is my new every day carry bag. 13” Mack book pro, iPad Pro, a camera kit and some chargers and cords. All fits like a glove and feels protected. Everything in a nice professional package.
