Farmhouse Walnut Top Dining Table 60"L x 40"w x 30" tall. Benches in Pics are sold separately. The Top is made from 7/8" Walnut Wood harvested locally and the Legs are 4"x4" White Pine Turned in our shop, The Aprons are made from 1" New Hampshire Ash Wood. ( Much of the furniture mass produced today use Veneer's,over some type of cheap composites. Kind of Looks real but it is not Solid Wood! ) The Legs and Aprons are Morticed and Tenoned which is the strongest leg joint available, (most mass manufactures use bolt on legs joints which Makes a lower quality joint and is not a true Heirloom joint.) We attach the Walnut Table Top using Turn buttons which allow for expansion and contraction. We hand sand to a nice soft feel and look. The Frame and Legs are Finished with a White Enamel Paint and the Top is Finished with 5 Coats of Natural Varnish Oil and then Waxed with 2 Coats of a Carnauba and Beeswax for Long lasting Durability and Sheen. We used Mostly Hand Tools such as Hand Planes, Chisels, Hand Saws, Hand Brace, Etc and a little Machine Work. Our Shipping cost are higher because the Legs are permanently Attached, no assembly required! We try to keep our Purchase price's reasonable because of the added shipping cost. A Table of this quality would normally sell for a much higher price in a retail store, you are buying directly from the Craftsman.
