I am beyond happy with this mattress! From the very first night, I noticed such a huge difference in my sleep quality. Actually, I am not normally don’t write reviews but EGOHOME 14 inch king size memory foam mattress is worth sharing so I am reviewing now. I’ve been sleeping on this bed for about a week now and I can honestly say it has completely upgraded my sleeping. The mattress arrived well packaged and rolled tightly in a surprisingly compact box for a king size. Unboxing was painless just unroll, remove the plastic, and let it breathe. Within a few hours it expanded to nearly its full height, and by the next morning it was fully set up and ready to go. I tend to run warm at night, and memory foam mattresses have been hit or miss for me in the past because they trap heat. But this one stays noticeably cooler. It never feels cold, but it definitely sleeps much more breathable than older foam mattresses I’ve used. This mattress has genuinely improved my sleep quality. Update17-May-2026 This mattress has changed my life. I will be 68 in September, and I cannot tell you how much younger I feel now, and how much more energy I have. I sleep better so I am more alert in the mornings. My exercise has improved because instead of just grinding through it, I am attacking it with vigor. Sleep is so important and it is the key to staying fit and maintaining mental acuity. Update 02-Mar-2026 My back pain is completely gone. It was a gradual improvement, with noticeable improvement in the first 2 weeks. It took about 2 months for the pain to be completely gone, and it has not returned. I sleep very soundly again, I can sleep on my side again which was something I could not do previously because the pain was too intense when laying on my side. This is by far the most comfortable mattress I have ever had. Update Nove 23, 2025 I received my 14 inch queen mattress Friday afternoon, 11/21/2205, and unpacked it. Then I laid it on the living room floor to let it expand for 48 hours. It is shipped in a box and it is rolled up in a vaccuum sealed bag. Many of the people who reviewed it only gave it 12 hours, but the instructions do say 12 to 48 hours. I am thinking that the larger the mattress the more time you should give it to expand. I just got it installed onto my old box spring and laid down on it for the first time. My impression was it is both soft and firm. You sink it to it a little and then you reach a firm layer where you stop. It felt super comfortable, just great. My wife laid down beside me and I could not feel movement on her side at all. It's very solid and stable. One notable change was that my old mattress was only 6 inches thick and this one is 14. Many of my old fitted sheets do not fit on this mattress. I will be sure to get deep fitted sheets right away. I have been told by my PT that the most common source of back pain is an old mattress, and a chirpractor told me the same thing. THis mattress was highly rated and customer reviews are great, so I am hoping to eliminate back and shoulder pain affecting my neck, scapula, and shoulder. This one is amazing! I know I’ve gotta give it a few days. And I will. lol. But I slept on it last night (first night 6hrs after unboxing) and it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I bought a new 14” on Amazon for $200 less back in April. It was soft when you push down on it, but sitting in it was hard. It was a pain to return but the seller worked with me to donate it and have a written letter stating who I donated it to. Then they reimburse me for it, which I was grateful for. Then I was hesitant on buying another ofc for a few months. So I went to multiple bed store trying their beds and I found some but they’re so expensive ☹️ Then I started asking people about the bed they had and I found that my brother in law who makes good money what bed he had. He said Ego 14” medium firm! I’ve always looked up to him on all his comfort taste lol! And so without thought, I bought this one. It’s only been a day but a good one. No smell. No wrinkles in the cover on the mattress. I hope it stays as comfortable as it is now. I am 5’4 120lbs for reference. This is the EGO 14” medium firm king. It’s great support both on my side and back. I’m a side sleeper mostly but my husband is a back sleeper. And it feels like we’re on a cloud. I’m ecstatic! The comfort of the bed is firm. The bed is a five star, but the reason I’m giving it a four star is because the inside of bed fabric moves. I can get the bed to go back up unless I rip it I can. The bed is worth it. It took away my sciatic pain that I’ve had for years. I love that is so spacious. I fall asleep right away. I wake up well rested. This was my first time buying a mattress in a box so I was a little concerned. Especially worried about it being deformed due to other reviews noting the same problem. I guess I just got lucky. The corners were definitely misshapen upon immediate removal from the box. But after leaving it out for 24 hours all but one corner had filled out correctly. And even the one that didn’t fill out, had definitely filled out more than it did upon first removal from the box. So I wasn’t too discouraged with it. After making up the bed and sleeping in it for a week, I absolutely fell in love!! Unfortunately my back pain did not disappear completely but it definitely felt better than it had in years!! (Unfortunately I have been diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis so due to that I’m not shocked that my pain didn’t disappear completely. I am also a nurse and am constantly on my feet for hours at a time and transferring heavy pts daily. And even with using proper body techniques I still have pain most likely due to my medical disorders.) When you first lay in the bed it is noted to be a bit firm (especially if you keep your house cold like I do. I am a very hot sleeper so I’m the type of person to crack my windows at night when it’s 40 degrees out to help keep me cool. So due to that the bed can feel very stiff at first) but after about 5-10 minutes my body heat will loosen the bed up and it then feels like I’m sinking into a cloud of amazingness. It’s absolutely the perfect amount of firmness mixed with softness for me. I also fall asleep on my side and then usually roll over to my back half way through the night. But no matter if I’m on my side or my back, this mattress hits all the right support spots for both positions. And the best part of all was when I went to take my sheets off the bed after the first week (I wash my sheets every week) I noticed that the last corner that was still misshapen after 24 hours had finally filled out all the way. Even with me sleeping on it all week. So I was very happy with that. This mattress also does a fantastic job at keeping me cool throughout the night. Overall I think it is great for the amount of money I paid for it. (Which I did get it when it was on sale, so I didn’t pay full price, I can’t remember exactly how much I got it for but maybe a little over $300). Definitely recommend it if you are looking for something affordable that feels like it is higher quality than what you pay for.
