A lovely mix of traditional and modern
I love wooden toys but sometimes kids just want brightly coloured plastic so this was a nice compromise. This was a gift for my youngest when she turned two but her four year old sister also loves playing with it. It feels like good quality and has a functional mix of plastic and wood - for example having the plastic window adds more play value as they can watch the coins drop in when posted through the hole. It comes with a leaflet with activity ideas which we tried out and went down well. Itโs also got a decent capacity that you could use it as an actual money box if you wanted.

Perfect piggy bank!
Brilliant piggy bank! Really well made! Had "Lovevery" quality to it and looks great alongside side them on the shelf. All counters have numbers on one side with the corresponding number of shapes on the other side. Has the right amount of challenge for my 2 year old still as he has to hold the piggy bank and pull the tail at the same time if he wants to open it himself.

Cute Piggy - my 18m Grandson loves it
My Grandsonโs Child minder has one of these and he loves putting the discs/coins in. So I bought him one for home. It is very cute and well made with smith edges. Would be nice to use as a proper money box once a child is older. Very impressed with the product and it is a sensible price too.

Highly recommend!
My 2 year old absolutely loves this money pig. Helps to guide learning around counting, colours and turn taking. Coins go in with ease and opens with ease. Easy to clean down to keep germs away. This is a part of our everyday routine. Love this item.

Excellent Montessori style toy
Lovely cute creative little toy for babies and young toddlers. You can start with helping babies with their hand and eye coordination and their love for putting things in and out of things! Then later to introduce numbers/ counting and then on to teaching shapes and colours. The few faults I have are being a little picky and being Montessori trained. Firstly the pig is beautifully made from wood , why not the coins? Then the story book is lovely , and encourages you to use the coins to count , in following the story and to call out the colours. Then why not have the coins same 10 colours as in the story and to include brown , black & white , instead of doubling in the colour / shade of green , orange and blue? This execution bothers me , and the inclusion of shapes should have been better executed too. Where's rectangle or oval instead of shapes used on 10, 2 & 4 ๐ค then the use of a pentagon on the number 6 coin and hexagon on the coin 7 !! Why not use on 5 & 6 coin instead ๐ค anyways as I say it's more because of my Montessori teaching background that these changes would have made it the perfect toy in my opinion! It's still a wonderful educational toy and I will use at home and purchase for gifts but not perfect in my opinion so won't be purchasing for a classroom ๐

Posting Piggy Bank
My little one loves to 'post' things and this toy allows her to explore that independently. It can be a little tricky for small fingers to retrieve the coins, but it's becoming easier as it's played with more. The numbers and colours of the coins also provide good learning opportunities. A good value toy that I would recommend!
