Nice set. My mahjong group uses this type, and we love that it has numbers (or letters) on all the tiles. The case is awful, too flimsy for the weight of all the tiles. DO NOT read the “How To” rules included. Chinese mahjong has lots of variations, but their rules were way off base. I got a lot of laughs when I read some of their rules and strategies out loud to my Mahjong groups!

I only learned mahjong about 6 months ago, and soon after bought a set so I could teach my family and friends! Having the numbers is a must of course. The tiles are quality and I haven’t had any chip or break with decent use, several dozen games. The case is very nice—just the handle definitely seems too weak to actually hold the weight of the tiles, they’re quite heavy, so you should hold onto the case when transporting it. The case is also great for making sure you haven’t lost any tiles since they have to fill it up. Unbeatable for the price! The only other negative is that I wish the bamboo suit was a little more angular. It can be a little bit confusing to brand new players since the design has circles in it, rather than very angular/rectangular bamboo. The tiles are a perfect size for playing on a normal square card table.

This is the regular sized mahjong. I bought this when we played it at an aunt’s house and since then have looked for something similar. This is a quality set. Heavy as it should be, I think that’s how to know the quality of the tiles. Every one in the family enjoyed playing the game. I love this set as I feel this is something that you can pass down to you children when they’re older. Thank you!

High Quality Mahjong set. Tiles in this set are not standard( Larger) size therefore, if you want to play American version of Mah Jong you will need 8 additional tiles to complete this set. I contacted the company and had a very quick response and turn around time to purchase the 8 additional tiles I needed in the correct size and color to match my set. Thank you so very much !

We're a big mahjong playing family - Chinese mahjong. But we don't speak Chinese. Dr appreciated the numbers in the number tiles and first letter in the wind name in the wind tiles. Great set.

Excellent quality product at an excellent price. Tiles are a great size for home-based mahjong gaming. Comes in a decent travel case although size and weight make it a bit cumbersome mobile wise. These tiles come with Arabic numbering and english lettering on all tiles making it easier for people unfamiliar with the Chinese symbols and characters to quickly learn and play the game.

First I was shocked at how heavy this set actually was when I went to pickup the box! It is such a good quality & solid set! Im happy I got the larger size tiles as these are the perfect size. I’ve only played Mahjong on a computer, so this will be a new learning curve for sure. But there is an instruction book. My daughter said there’s a game on TikTok that uses tiles like these (all tho with pictures not the mahjong details) and it’s a 2 player game. So we’ll be using 2 of the matching sets for that game also. I’m so happy I purchased this
