Like others have said, this is a very nice product, but the box somehow falls apart during shipping, the side flaps being broken off, so that when you finally open it, it pretty much falls apart. The rule of paper, however, is thin, but a very good quality. I’m still happy with the purchase. Although it was a little odd, it arrived smelling strongly of perfume…

Nice parchment paper. It's thick, cuts easily, and has a thin, water resistant coating that reduces oil seep-through during, for example, baking bacon. This makes clean up a lot nicer

I had no idea they sold parchment paper in 12" width. No more cutting 15" down to fit 12" cookie sheets, I dont remember ever not needing to cut to fit. Very happy with value for the price

First of all, I'd like to say that this parchment paper works great! It's economical and does just what it's supposed to do. Secondly - the packaging (most importantly the cutting edge) is HORRIBLE! There is no way to easily open the package without tearing the end flaps or ripping the cardboard. And once you finally get it open, the flimsy cutting edge attached to the flimsy cardboard is worthless! There is absolutely NO way to get a clean cut edge. I found a solution that may or may not work for others: stiffen the box. After straightening the metal cutting edge, I glued a thin (~1/4" x 3/4") strip of wood behind it. Clamping the strip until the glue sets is important - gotta keep that edge straight! Then I turned the roll of parchment so it feeds UP at the front of the box. Now I can unroll the amount I need, put a hand on the roll to keep it from turning and gently cut the parchment. Now I get a perfect straight cut EVERY time. I would also recommend opening the box with a thin paring knife under the seals to keep from tearing the box. Expect to have to tape the box to keep it from flying apart.
