After my doctor told me I had low vitamin D, tried quite a few different vitamins. I love that this one comes with K2, and it’s such a small pill! Some of the previous brands I used had very few UI per capsule, and I had to take quite a few to get the amount I needed. This pill has no taste and is very easy to swallow. It has not upset my stomach at all. As far as effectiveness, it’s hard to tell. As far as value for money, it comes with 60 capsules which will last me about 2 months. It is on the pricier side but I’ve enjoyed it thus far.

I’m vegan and have celiac disease so absorbing nutrients has always been a challenge. I had blood work done five months ago and my level for vitamin D was at 10 which is significantly low and after taking this for the last few months, I take double the recommended dose and my level is now at 60 which is in normal range I plan to continue taking two capsules a day until my doctor and I discussed possibly taking more to bring it up higher! I’ve completely noticed an entire shift and how my brain is functioning daily. Lots less brain fog! I just ordered more vitamins from this company and will report back after I get my lab labs!

This is my review for Sports Research Vitamin D3 + K2. I consistently re-order supplements from this brand. Whenever I try another brand, I always end up going back to Sports Research. This is a very small gelcap that is easy to swallow. It is tasteless and odorless and does not repeat. You only need to take one of the gelcaps vs two, like many of brands. It supplies you with 5000 IU of Vitamin D3 and 100 mcg of K2. Vitamin D3 is important for so many reasons, but mostly known for assisting in the absorption of calcium. Vitamin K2 is important because it helps drive calcium into the bones where you want it, rather than calcium deposits building in the heart and vessels. Sports Research brand is vegan, non-GMO certified, gluten free, cGMP compliant and third party tested. It’s a quality supplement and made in the USA.
