Sports Research® Vegan Vitamin D3 + K2 w/Coconut Oil, 60 Count Plantgels™

I have been taking this for a week and I swear I'm starting to feel the difference. I was previously taking D3 without the K2. This was a game changer. For anyone with issues taking supplements, this is a small, easy to swallow plantgel. I also like that its plant based after recently learning that D3 traditionally comes from lanolin in sheep which sounded like a horrific process. The only side effect I've had is having more energy and my hair that was previously shedding a ton has started to slow down - thankfully! There's no after taste at all. I do wish that the bottle was larger so the ingredients and nutritional information was easier to read.

This is my review for Sports Research Vitamin D3 + K2. I consistently re-order supplements from this brand. Whenever I try another brand, I always end up going back to Sports Research. This is a very small gelcap that is easy to swallow. It is tasteless and odorless and does not repeat. You only need to take one of the gelcaps vs two, like many of brands. It supplies you with 5000 IU of Vitamin D3 and 100 mcg of K2. Vitamin D3 is important for so many reasons, but mostly known for assisting in the absorption of calcium. Vitamin K2 is important because it helps drive calcium into the bones where you want it, rather than calcium deposits building in the heart and vessels. Sports Research brand is vegan, non-GMO certified, gluten free, cGMP compliant and third party tested. It’s a quality supplement and made in the USA.

After my doctor told me I had low vitamin D, tried quite a few different vitamins. I love that this one comes with K2, and it’s such a small pill! Some of the previous brands I used had very few UI per capsule, and I had to take quite a few to get the amount I needed. This pill has no taste and is very easy to swallow. It has not upset my stomach at all. As far as effectiveness, it’s hard to tell. As far as value for money, it comes with 60 capsules which will last me about 2 months. It is on the pricier side but I’ve enjoyed it thus far.

My doctor recommended this after I went and got a blood test and found out that I was low on vitamin D and magnesium and vitamin B I'm 51. I just love a supplement that actually works takes awhile for supplements to get in your system so when they do you'll notice and I definitely noticed the D vitamin absorbing into my skin my skin is less blotchy I feel better I have more energy I'm not saying it's a miracle but it does take about 30 days to get in your system and it absorbs very well I can tell my nails are growing longer I just overall feel a lot better as I started taking this because I was deficient in it before and doing my research found out that vitamin D is very hard to absorb into people's system there was actually a patent out on a vitamin D supplement that absorbed very well but my doctor actually recommended this brand I just gave her my phone and told her to order whatever I needed I have the vitamin D supplement and I also have the magnesium supplement and they both have made me feel 100% better so I would definitely recommend the brand and not only that's a packaging just awesome like if I hadn't got it recommended I probably would have bought it just because it looks professional and it came quick also in the mail I have Amazon Prime it happens any questions let me know
