My son purchased this with his allowance and he is very happy with his purchase. A great addition to his collection. We love having our akedo matches, him moreso because he always wins ;) If you are looking for a gift for a young child this is definitely a great choice. My son (8) and all of his classmates love playing with their akedos together.

Awful packaging
Itโs a great toy but came with charcoal and paper was ripped. Packaging was awful- heavy handed repackaged with clunky tape, glues on pieces of ripped paper, etc. the instructional paper was unusable as there were tears that took portions of the paper off and all crinkled up. It also arrived 3 days late after an already long delivery wait time. My kid is still happy with the toy itself and wants to give it 4 stars. I as a parent would give it 2, if that.

Low quality
Arm broke off as soon as my son set it on the controller and pushed the strike button a couple of times. He didnโt even battle with it.
