I LOVE this shovel, so much that I have bought these for birthday gifts and wedding gifts. IT IS MADE FOR THE GARDEN, so don’t listen to any negative reviews from people digging up trees and pavement and super heavy stuff. The blade nose cuts through tough soil and roots like a breeze, and turns over soil easily. The point also makes it easy to dig holes for plants. However, if you go to their website they also have a smaller version of this that I bought and also love. They’re both worth every penny.

This is the best shovel I have ever used. I am 80 years old and 4’11”. I love my flower gardens but as I age it is harder to dig. This shovel is amazing because of its shape it digs in the dirt so easy. Plus it is lighter weight so easier for me to use.

Strong yet lightweight! I can dig derp and cut roots with this great shovel. I've bought 6 so far. I love to give them to my gardening friends.

This is the best shovel I have ever owned. I'm a long time gardener and am mad at myself for not knowing about this! It makes digging so much easier. It's great for transplanting too. The point allows it to get under rocks and plant roots. I absolutely love it and tell all of my gardening friends about it!

Excellent spade with shoulder on the blade for your foot to get a good grip, neat blade shape helps get close to target plant when plants are close together

Amazing shovel! Works much better than a regular shovel. Cuts through compact clay soil. Was able to plant a small tree in under 30 minutes. If you are taller you might want to get the longer handle but it works well for me 5’1”.

Easy to use for someone small and older. Light weight but heavy duty.

I just got this pretty purple-handled shovel today and immediately put it to use. I know it's going to be a real help in my clay soil, but for now, I used it to scrape weeds along my front porch. It is sharp, and the 40" handle is just right. Hopefully, the purple handle keeps it at my house instead of ending up at my son's! Bought it for my 71st birthday. It's a great length to be used as a walking stick, too.

Light weight, easy to use, sharp to penetrate the ground, place to push with your foot. Love love love.

I like using this sharp shovel and would be more ambitious with it if I weren’t so lazy.

Just opened the box and it's already damaged from factory.. not impressed. I bought this for a gift and i dont feel comfortable giving someone a damaged present .
