Always good to monitor your air quality
Iโve been using this air quality monitor mainly to keep an eye on air quality while 3D printing, and itโs been really solid so far. Setup was quick, basically turn on and good to go. and the display is bright, clear, and easy to read from across the room. It tracks CO2, PM2.5, PM10, and overall AQI, which is super helpful to see how things change during and after a print. The readings seem accurate and respond quickly when the printer starts running or when I open a window for ventilation. Itโs nice having actual data instead of just guessing if the airโs getting stuffy or dusty. For anyone doing a lot of 3D printing or working in a small workshop, this little monitor gives some good peace of mind. Big plus it has USB-C charging port!

Proof these work: wildfire-caused purple AQI outside and monitor reading agrees
I got two of these monitors because I do pottery in my home basement and I wanted to be sure my air purifiers and pottery practices were keeping the house air safe. I have one in the basement and one the main living area in my house. The readings were always pretty low, ranging from 002-010, except for a couple of times when I kicked up a lot of dust. In those instances, the monitor reading was consistent with the indicators on the air purifiers, but still I was unsure how accurate they are. We are currently experiencing very poor air quality in my area due to distant wildfires. The weather app shows outside air AQI of 240 in my area. My indoor monitors were reading 35 and 24. I put a monitor outside and after several minutes it went up to 222 and had an audible signal. I took it back inside and it was reading 26. I replaced the HEPA filters in my air purifiers and after about 15 minutes, the readings went back to our baseline of 002. I replaced the filters in the basement air purifiers and again the reading on the basement monitor went down from 035 to 002 after about 20 minutes. I was pleased to see that the monitors work as intended, as do the air purifiers. The CO2 reading is not useful to me, and you have to recalibrate for CO2 every time you let the battery go flat, but for my purposes these monitors are great.

Good quality, accurate
This is a good quality unit, except for one thing. The interface is awkward and it only uses military time

Returning for glitch in AQI firmware
Had all the features I wanted and I really liked it, but it has some kind of firmware glitch and I could not successfully recalibrate the AQI. It would recalibrate and then revert to negative numbers again. Not good.

Excellent Air Quality Monitor - Accurate & Easy to Use
I'm very impressed with this air quality monitor. First of all it feels like it's very high quality. It does not feel or look cheap. I can tell a lot of thought went into the design. Setup was basically one button and it was ready to go, already fully charged. The display is straightforward and very crisp, bright, and easy to use. It's also accurate and the reading update instantly real time. The alarm feature is also a big plus because I put this in my garage man cave and I'll still be able to hear the alarm from other parts of the house. I also love how portable it is and how you can hand it on a wall. I highly recommend this!

Fantastic Meter but resets calibration every 48 hours
Update: Customer service is extremely helpful and issued a replacement product. However, the device still suffers from the same issue where it resets it's C02 calibration automatically after several days. If you want to use this as a continuous monitor in home you will need to reset the calibration outside for 200secs every few days. This is fantastic device for understanding indoor air quality. I wanted this meter as I wanted more than just C02 b/c we have a large living area that we do daily cooking and I wanted to know the impact to PM2.5 & how quickly HEPA filters cleared the air. However the main negative is the device resets it's C02 calibration automatically every 48 hours (to base ~410ppm) so you need to recalibrate if you want accurate readings. I do not care as much about bringing this device to external locations b/c I avoid them b/c the public is not taking COVID like the serious threat it is, therefore N95's & risk reduction are the only option for now. However this device would work well to bring to appointments just to see, but it is not really made for portability, there are better devices that don't have an unprotected screen & have data logging. If you are planning to bring device to external locations often make sure to reset calibration outdoors before going. This device works great to alert me if I forget to use my downdraft exhaust fan when cooking or if the oven/air fryer is creating smoke and I need to increase the speed on my HEPA filters. The main issue is the device recalibrating C02 automatically every 48 hours. If this issue was fixed I would rate the device 5 stars.

Not sure how useful this is
Either I have a spectacularly clean home and nearly perfect air quality or this thing is not very useful for PMs It was charged up and calibrated outdoors and when finished after the 200 second countdown, turned itself back on and showed 008 on the PMs and 405 on CO2, which is pretty standard for outdoors according to the internet. Back inside the house.... So far it has not flashed above 005 on PM10 and not above 003 on PM2.5 and those were for just a fraction of a second. Even waving dusty things around it only causes it to flash at those levels for a moment occasionally and very briefly like not even a full second before it drops down again. Took it down to the basement of my 1922 house, which is unfinished and extremely dusty. Nothing changed. Shook a clothing item that had been hanging down there a while and nothing changed on the PM numbers same fluctuation from 002 to 004 and back down. The CO2 monitor definitely works. On the first floor the CO2 hovered in the mid 400s. In main part of basement the CO2 went up to about 550-600. I heard the furnace (a gas fired hot water boiler from 1956!!) kick on while I was down there so I took it into that room and held it a couple feet from furnace while it was firing. The PMs did not change but the CO2 started to climb to about 700+. Went back out into main basement area and CO2 kept climbing to about 775 and then started to drop back down to about 600. Went back up to 1st floor and it continued to drop back down. Overall I don't know if I trust the PM monitor part of this device or I just happen to have excellent air quality. Judging by the amount of dust on surfaces and floors that is regularly cleaned up, I would be surprised if the PMs were so low in the air. I am suspicious because I also have an air purifier with auto AQI and that thing will kick into high mode if I just pick up a throw blanket off the sofa and start to fold it not even shaking it out in the air. In the basement it will kick in if you simply walk past it! This thing never registered above 005 no matter what I did inside the house.

I am impressed with Inkbird"s many products.
I ordered and received this Air Quality Monitoring device the same day with Prime. Simple instructions made it ready to go. First, I want to stress that this monitor has 6 sensors and is designed to be moveable with battery backup, it lasts for about 24 hours when powered on with just the battery. I read reviews on the Battery and there were many Un warranted complaints. I went back to the information on Amazon, and it clearly states that it should be plugged in with provided power. (This is not a stand-alone battery unit.) Inkbird does have a battery mode module. First I did an inside calibrating overnight. The next morning it was looking like I was breathing great air and no CO2 leaks as my bar in in the next room. (See CO2 bottles) I was watching the News and all of a sudden, the AQI went over !00 (had the alarm on) I went to the kitchen (see in the video what set it off.) The next 3 photos are an example of calibrating outside. It starts at 200 sec. and counts down to 1 and thinks a few seconds, then resets values. I had to set up the date, time and start all over but it calibrated as instructed. I moved it around to a few places and took photos in the upstairs bathroom, my garage, the barn to show different usage while moving freely with just the battery backup. Next, I checked my garage after having used my favorite Chevy and all was good. I found this monitor to be very accurate, (I did wait most times to times to let the monitor settle in place.) some of the photo's readings was only to showing versatility of the unit. (It was not in place for a proper reading.) One of the photos a Inkbird Radon detector and Inkbird plug and play temperature controller are shown. I love Inkbird products and highly recommend this AQI monitor. Note: Photo for outside calibration (order of photos order are) as followed see #5 next #3 next # 1 and #11 is the total reset after 200 second calibration.

As advertised!
Accurate, very useful, especially the alarm function when air quality drops rapidly.

Battery dies within a month
Battery died within a month. The fact that this item got a 3.8 star average review is telling. Most reviewers give a big benefit of the doubt so average review is usually above 4.5. That said, everything else I bought from Inkbird (sous vide, thermometers) are perfect.

A vital device to see what our eyes cant see
why did i buy this: i do a lot of WFH and realized i get too tired and exhausted after just a hour. Dk why i bought this and found out that CO2 accumulation was way outta normal levels in my room due to poor ventilation. now i remedied the CO2 issue and also found out that my DIY air purifier works really well. normal AQI is around 70-80 normally in my region. Features and good experience with this product : built in battery lasts for a day but this device is designed to be connected to power at all times. CO2 measurement can be calibrated and is set to off by default built like a brick which i honestly did not expect measurements respond pretty fast to changes which i really appreciate. has a smoke alarm kinda feature where if AQI crosses 100 it beeps. looks nice in my room. The cons and bad experience. backlight is not bright enough experienced a glitch where CO2 ppm was stuck at 500 had to reset the device i wish it lasted atleast for months before charging if there is bad ventilation temperature reading is unreliable Something i want to say: i read a lot of reviews before buying this product and it seems like the seller is listening to feedback and fixing a lot of issues users experienced my experience till date is almost flawless except the problems mentioned above. which is also something i didnt expect. i expect this thing to last atleast 3 years or so and if it fails i will update my review as this one is not cheap at all atleast for me. overall i can confidently recommend this product if you can accept the shortcomings mentioned above

Does not charge properly
The charger does not work at all well! I have replaced 2 and neither would charge properly. Since one cannot use batteries, charging is the only way to use it. Finally the price is far too high for something that does not work well!!
