Seems like a high quality cord (I cut mine up into pieces for powering some equipment). I have been running near the max current rating for a while with no ill effects.

The only thing this cord has to offer is it's 12 feet ...The plug it's self dose not make a solid and tight connection and with the intended uses ofsupplying power to modern electronics it is of no use to me ,because it required duck tapeto keep it from falling out of my device ...:-(I'm back to the shorter cord that came with my device plus a extension cord to make it longerI would recommend you save your money and don't buy
