The finish on this is nice and matches well with my red Yamaha FZ07. Setup and use is easy and straightforward. The cutouts in the lock perfectly fit over your handlebar and lever. With some practice, you can actually apply it and lock it with one hand. That can be handy if you're other hand is holding your gear. This stands out from other similar locks because of its included lever sleeve (which prevents your levers from getting scratched when using the lock), rubber adapter pieces (to make a more snug fit), and the extra key. The sleeve is definitely a must have and no brainer unless you want your levers scratched. I think the rubber adapter pieces aren't really necessary by design of how the lock stays on and is used. I would have preferred if the adapter parts were just installed by default. What's most important, however, is making sure the actual lock is of solid quality and couldn't be broken by a thief easily. It achieves this for sure. What's great, is that this is still a lightweight solution which isn't bulky or annoying to carry around. In fact, I rode back home with the lock in my jacket pocket without issue. Overall, this becomes a key must have product for added bike security without the inconvenience of other solutions. I imagine it would be even more useful when paired with a protective cover which could also be locked. I hope this review helps.
Review: Very nice little lock that is super convenient! - I love this handlebar lock. I use it all the time. It's a great tool to quickly lock up your bike when you're running into the store to prevent people from moving it. It feels very solid and sturdy when locked on the handle bars. While it's not going to stop someone from stealing your bike, if it's parked on the street overnight, it works very well for short stops when you're running errands through the town.

A: No, keys are uniquely matched to the lock making it very secure!

**Q: Would this work on a Genuine buddy 50 CC moped?**
A: Hello yes it should if you have stock size grips. (1.5” in diameter or smaller).

**Q: Would this work on a yamaha bws 125 2010 model?**
A: Looking at a picture of the scooter, I would say yes as the grips are not that big in diameter. Anything over 1.25 inches will not work.

This is a cheap, convenient and light security solution to protecting your motorcycles from theft. By using this lock grip, it will help prevent someone from jacking your bike. Applying it to your brake levers makes it significantly harder to roll the bike away. See my included photos for how it looks when on a bike. From my research, this seems to be (at time of review) the best value handlebar lock available with this design on Amazon now. The finish on this is nice and matches well with my red Yamaha FZ07. Setup and use is easy and straightforward. The cutouts in the lock perfectly fit over your handlebar and lever. With some practice, you can actually apply it and lock it with one hand. That can be handy if you're other hand is holding your gear. This stands out from other similar locks because of its included lever sleeve (which prevents your levers from getting scratched when using the lock), rubber adapter pieces (to make a more snug fit), and the extra key. I love this handlebar lock. I use it all the time. It's a great tool to quickly lock up your bike when you're running into the store to prevent people from moving it. It feels very solid and sturdy when locked on the handle bars. While it's not going to stop someone from stealing your bike, if it's parked on the street overnight, it works very well for short stops when you're running errands through the town.

Maybe I'm paranoid, but I have no less than 4 locks on my bike (2 disk locks, 1 for each wheel, a Hiplok D1000 to use with chain, and this brake lever lock), and I would use this in conjunction with the bike to make it more of a hassle to get through. I wish the rubber was adhered to the inside rather than be loose, since I did ended up loosing the rubber mat. It can be picked easy, and with some force, you could slide it off, especially if you have a shorty brake level, but for the price, it's just one more form of deterrent for the not so bright people.
