Good fast Hard Drive. These Western Digital hard drives work great.

I set up the hard drive and installed and initialized my DVR system. I thought everything was ok. However, I noticed that after every 15 minutes, the entire camera system and the DVR would shut down and restart. After going into the audit logs, I could see that it keeps giving an error and can't actually write anything on the drive so the DVR trys to re-initialize and then restart when it still doesn't work it does the same thing over and over. I tried reformatting it re initializing nothing seems to work so I am out 540 bucks and have 0mb of footage recorded so ticked!

These are the best bang for your buck for large surveillance camera systems! Out of 15 that I’ve bought in the past year I’ve only had one that was doa and Amazon quickly sent a replacement. I’ve yet to have issues with any of them which is surprising giving that many of them live in buildings that are pretty much sheds without any climate control or even ventilation!

Easy to hook up. Cables came with NVR not hard drive.

Is 2nd I buy in 2 months..first one las 3 days...second one 1 month..I believe this are rebuilt, cause the package box is blank and has no info not even and instructions o any information!..I loss 20 tb of data!..DON'T BUY!!!

Looks like somebody is making big money with selling Seagate drives valued at 50 Dollar for almost 10 times more.

Hace muchísimo ruido, es insoportable. Devolví el disco duro hace más de 2 semanas y aún estoy esperando la devolución de mi dinero. No recomiendo la compra

Hace mucho ruido, no me lo esperaba. Tengo todos del mismo wd purple, pero de diferentes tamaños. Ninguno hace ese ruido, al principio creí que era defectuoso, pero llevo con él varios meses y no me ha dado problemas.
