Manischewitz Apple Butter, 17oz | Smooth & Sweet Spread, Great for Sauces & Glazes, No Sugar Added

Taste like real apple butter without the added sugar I am on a no added sugar lifestyle. So I was in search of an apple butter without added sugar and tasted good like the one I remembered. I used to buy another brand and it was good but too tangy an lacked the original apple butter taste.’this one hit the jackpot a little pricey for a jar of apple butter but I am glad I bought it. No tangy taste ..smooth .

Lower sugar content and greater value than an organic brand I was buying before.

I love apple butter as long as it has very few ingredients and is sweetened with fruit or fruit juice. This apple butter is magnificent! Only two ingredients apples and apple cider, the texture and a consistency are perfect it's not too sweet and I have it on toast every single day sometimes with peanut butter and sometimes just by itself. This is the real deal, folks!

I tried this Manischewitz apple butter and on my next order tried the Musselman. The Musselman is absolutely not bad at all, but it is very apple-pie-spice flavored and it is also sweetened I think. The Manis (and I am going to call it Manis because Manischewitz is hard) is pure apple, nothing else, no nonsense. If you are going to want the sweetness and the cinnamon every time you use it, the Musselman would be an excellent choice but I want just apple and if I want the cinnamon and sugar I can always add it. The Manis is just plain apple, and just plain apple is good in my book.

This product is very bland by Appalachian tastes, but well made and a pretty big jar (some are too little)

I'm taking a star off because it did come with a dent in the lid and was shipped that way, the packaging was fine and arrived with the exterior of the package in perfect condition. Therefore, when it was packaged, they knew the jar was not sealed as the middle seal indicator was popped up. Since the jar was opened, anything could have been put inside, and I don't trust it to eat it. I am ordering one more time. I am ordering it a second time because looking at the product, I love the thickness and texture. It's not like the runny apple butter I normally see which caused me to stop buying apple butter in the first place. I also love that it only has two quality ingredients, just apple cider and apples. That means the entire product is apple. The packaging itself is also quality. The jar came in one piece; it's just a shame that quality control allowed a clearly unsealed jar to leave. The product is to be refrigerated after opening. I have no idea how long it had been opened. In general, even though I have to throw this batch away, the product is a good value. It's a shame I can't get a replacement jar that's actually sealed.

Love this on my protein pancakes, in yogurt or on toast. Not too sweet. Big jar!

This is so nice. You only need a little bit. I know this sounds weird but it is niceeeee! In grilled cheese sandwhich. Plus it’s only sweetened using apples!!
