I'm able to jam now..
I got this to mount on the outside on the roof of my shop because my AM/FM stereo did not get a signal inside and only got static. The magnet is holding it in place through the wind and rain and I'm getting a lot of radio stations now. Mounting is easy, connection is very good, and size is perfect.
