Very nice smooth accurate movement. Lightweight if you like that, I do. Pair with a nice mouse matt and it is great!

Banging mouse. Not a fan of having to download software for the remapping etc, but this one is decent and easy to use. Clicks are loud.

(£58.99 Jan 2025) Very well made with noticeable improvements over the G502 Hero's. First thing you notice is the slim rubber cable - definitely preferred the braided cable for the feel, will the rubber degrade over time and accumulate dust and grime and then drag itself across the desk? Ergonomically, it is better, as good as the Hero/Hero SE were, this is more comfortable and a lot more natural due to it's lesser slope, you can feel the difference if you go from one to the other. Underneath, the glide pads are A LOT bigger, which is definitely a good thing, the previous iteration was woefully lacking in this area and once they wear or come away, they are "scratchy" across the surface and you needed to order replacement pads, but to be fair, the Left switch had failed by then and you just "put up" with it because there wasn't much point spending money on pads when the clicker had become eligible for benefits. The newer opto-hybrid switch wizardry sounds like it will solve the problem of the pathetic switches they installed in the original G502's - the only consistent thing about those was that they were consistent - they consistently failed. Let's see how these get on... There are two negatives, both of which maybe time will fix? 1. The scroll wheel is far too noisy, you get a similar sound from running a stick along park railings. 2. G Hub software is terrible. Maybe the stick and the railings will wear over time and soften the sound? Did nobody at Logi HQ R&D Labs test the wheel for fast scrolling in a night time environment? Maybe Logitech will sort out the slow and clunky G Hub software that takes an age to realise that there is a G502 X connected via a Usb 3 hub that launched it in the first place !? Usb 3 speeds should be plenty fast to communicate through on a system on an AM5 gaming rig with 32Gb of DDR5 6000MHz Ram and a Pcie Gen4 7400MB/s M.2 - but apparently not - it takes an age to program the profiles into the mouse and I couldn't find a way to rename the profiles onboard. You can rename profiles if you use the G Hub software to do the switching, but it is not great and one of the best benefits is the ability to use the mouse with another system and still have the profiles available, without having to install the clunky, junky G Hub software everywhere. Don't hold your breath waiting for that clickety-click wheel to soften. And don't hold your breath waiting for Logitech to sort the G Hub software out - it's still the era where paper statistics and pretty UI are the priority, not real world performance.

- The switches feel significantly better, it's clear that the new design will age better before double clicking or being intermittent. - The scroll wheel has welcomed some improvements. It's still very easy to tilt, yet is now soft and is easier to click without triggering tilt. Scroll up and down are now remappable in the software. - The farthest thumb button now has an extension lip, bringing it closer. Included is a swappable attachment should you want the old placement. - The weightlessness and glide of the mouse is impeccable. - The rubber sides are less spongy and likely to peel less. Instead, they've added very fine lined indentations for grip support. - The cable has been replaced from the stiff, dust-prone braided one to a smooth, malleable plasticky one. - Onboard memory is still available, so you can run the software once, write your sensitivity and mappings to the mouse, and never use it again. That said, I've never had issues with the software, instead I greatly appreciate the QOL of automatic profile switching, it's a huge productivity boost. The G502 X sets the standard for everything a modern mouse should be. It's aggressively priced for the regular no-frills model, there is a premium for the RGB and wireless variants.

Very low quality. Switches are poor from the get go and constantly not registering clicks. Good size for adult male hands but flimsy and don't even get me started on the really annoying clicking "ping" sound. Terrible value.

Good mouse in general, looks good in most setups and it’s a good weight especially for the price so I would recommend for anyone getting into gaming

Improves on the G502 Hero in almost all ways. The grip pattern doesn't have a triangular pattern for dirt to get stuck in; the area around the DPI and scroll mode buttons isn't recessed, so doesn't become a dust trap; the DPI alt mode button is swappable so you can orient it out of the way if you want; it's so much lighter that I really don't know what Logitech was thinking including additional weights with their already absurdly heavy G502. The only downside for me is really nitpicky. The scroll wheel sounds really ratchet-y compared to the old model, which had more of a soft bump sound.

Uso questo G502 X cablato ogni giorno, sia per giocare che per lavorare. Avevo già usato le versioni precedenti, ma questo modello è ancora più leggero e comodo. La forma è quella storica che conosciamo, ma tutto è più moderno e curato. I clic sono reattivi e precisi, grazie ai nuovi switch ottici, e il sensore è una garanzia: velocissimo e affidabile in ogni situazione. La rotella a doppia modalità è comodissima, specialmente per chi lavora o scrolla tanto. Non ha più i pesetti regolabili come le versioni vecchie, ma sinceramente non ne sento la mancanza. Anzi, apprezzo la leggerezza, perché affatica meno la mano dopo tante ore. Conclusione: se cerchi un mouse da gaming solido, comodo e preciso, il G502 X cablato è un’ottima scelta. Io lo uso da settimane e non ha sbagliato un colpo.

J’ai reçu ma Logitech G502X il y a quelques jours et je dois dire que je suis impressionné. Dès le déballage, on sent la qualité de fabrication : la souris est solide, bien finie et son design reste fidèle à la légendaire G502, tout en étant plus moderne et plus légère. La prise en main est excellente, elle épouse bien la main et les boutons tombent naturellement sous les doigts. La molette débrayable est un vrai bonheur pour naviguer rapidement, et les clics sont précis et réactifs. J’ai aussi apprécié la possibilité de personnaliser les boutons et les DPI via Logitech G Hub, ce qui la rend parfaite pour le gaming comme pour le travail. En jeu, elle est redoutablement précise et fluide. On sent vraiment la différence avec une souris classique, que ce soit sur les FPS rapides ou les MMO. Seul bémol, câble non tréssé
