Finally a suitable replacement
After searching for a replacement for my BMW iDrive knob for years and only finding strange and awkward fixes, I finally came across the Jaroxn Compatible with BMW iDrive Knob Button Replacement, and it's amazing! It fits perfectly and looks like original equipment. The installation process was easy. I recommend removing the original knob very carefully with a hard plastic knife to avoid scratching the original metal. Also, pay attention to the orientation of the original knob so you can replace it exactly as it was. The part comes in from the top and has a tiny O-Ring; be sure to clean it and carefully reinstall it. Reassemble the parts and push them into place; if everything is oriented properly, it requires no strength, just a little push, and voila, you're done! That was the only damaged part in the interior of my 2013 BMW 550 Xi, and I'm so glad I replaced it. My interior looks fantastic once again.

Fits Perfectly
A little tricky getting out the old one without damaging the ring around it. If you can pry it up slightly and then pull out with your fingernail it works fine. Replacement pops right in and looks great. My car is a 2013 BMW 328i.

Perfect fit
I bought this for my 2012 BMW 750 f01 f02 and it fit perfectly easy to install. Picture shows the old one and the new one installed. By the way it lights up perfectly at night and all four of the directional buttons are illuminated .
