Cutest Book Ever
Gave this book to my daughter this year with some spooky pj’s and she was so pleased with it. It’s one of our favorite Halloween books now.

This is my six-year old nieces' favorite book of all time.
She's kooky and super smart and loves this book more than any other, and she reads a lot. I can't wait for Rebecca Green's next book so I can give the kid her new favorite book. She even sent me a letter and drew her favorite scene out of it.

Wonderful story for all ages
My absolute favorite book. I had a miscarriage years ago, and found this sweet book. I highly suggest everyone expecting to have this in their bookshelf. This teaches children not to be scared of the unknown, and that you should be friendly to people even when they're different. This book has been a great comfort to me!

Non-religious and adorable!
The cutest story ever! Seriously perfect if your kids are scared of ghosts and bonus there is nothing about any religion in this book!

Adorable book
This book is so fun and adorable. The pictures are great and it held my 3 year old's attention well. She laughed multiple times throughout the book. It was easy to understand and a great read. If you are on the fence about this book, it is definitely worth it!!!

Not a story, too advanced for young children, uninspiring illustration & odd concepts
I was really disappointed by this book. I bought it for my 4 and 6 year olds who've been interested in (& a little worried by) the idea of ghosts recently. I'd hoped it'd be a fun way of demystifying ghosts in a fun and playful way. Sadly it didn't fit the bill at all. The language used and the word count were too advanced for young children. Also, this isn't in a story format, but a mock chaptered manual on ghost handling. The illustrations are all in the near monotone of the front cover, and wouldn't be engaging for younger readers. Finally, there are some really odd ideas in the book that would have heightened the worries of my young children. For example, it informs you that your ghost will stay with your forever even when you grow old and will always be looking over your shoulder, and that you should take care not to accidentally eat them. Of course, all children are different, but this would certainly have caused mine anxiety.

Delightful! Adorably illustrated!
Bought this for my 7 year old daughter who loves Halloween and ghosts. This book reminds one a bit of Casper and has a sweet storyline that gently tells the circle of life not unlike Disney’s Coco- you will know what I mean when you read it. Along the way, there are tons of funny bits that are exactly the kind of yucky childlike humour kids love to hear and imagine! The pictures were often so cute that my daughter kissed them! Haha! The story is perfect- funny, loving, sweet, teaches about caring for others. Deserves an award if it hasn’t already gotten one. A definite must have for your autumn and Halloween book shelf!

A boo-tiful book
I love this book. As the title suggests, How To Make Friends With a Ghost is the perfect guide for finding and befriending a ghost for life, and is full of top tips for caring for, feeding and protecting your new ghostly pal. Rebecca Green's illustrations are absolutely stunning and tell the story of the girl's friendship with the ghost alongside the instructions, and without spoiling anything, ends the book on a surprisingly touching note.Perfect for fans of ghosts, friendship, and wonderful picture books.

A must read if you’re having issues with your room mates.
Great book, I’m now friends with my housemate poltergeist. He loved the food I made for him, as recommended by the book. The old trick of blowing him through a doorway helps when he refuses to pay rent, so I can kick him out for a few days till he agrees to pay.Would recommend.
