At first I thought it didn’t work but I needed to clean the contacts.

I wish I could give this review zero stars, but a 1 star review is the minimum Amazon allows!I had purchased this product in the past and it worked well with our HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer/scanner/copier/fax in a home office. However, my most recent purchase printer cartridge in May 2025 is no longer compatible with our HP Officejet Pro 8600. Unfortunately, I didn't need to open this May 2025 purchase to replace one of the printer color cartridges until June 2026 - so it is WAY PAST Amazon's return period! When one of the cartridges from our May 2025 purchase was installed in June 2026, an error message appeared stating that the cartridge is not compatible or damaged (as other Amazon reviewers of this product have also stated in their 1 star reviews). Apparently, Hewitt Packard has programmed into their printer to reject non-original HP ink cartridges now. I purchased and tried to install actual HP print cartridges on my printer, but am unable to use them also because of the error that occurred with use of these non-HP print cartridges. I assume HP has made their printers non-compatible with non-HP ink cartridges on purpose. I now have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 printing machine that is useless to print and have had to purchase a new printer/scanner for my home office.This is a warning to all customers trying to save money on these types of cartridges - it’s not worth it!

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600. I just got these on same day delivery! The price and quality can't be beat for these cartridges. It worked great! My printer recognized it immediately. Right now, I see no difference in quality. I've always used HP genuine cartridges, but just don't want to pay the outrageous prices anymore. I also disabled HPs Cartridge Protection many years ago.For those of you having issues, be sure to disable the HP Cartridge Protection box. You should be able to find it when you click on the ink level icon and on then the dashboard, on the extreme right , click on HP Cartridge Protection. At that location you will be able to disable the Cartridge Protection.

Yellow cartridge not recognized by the pinter so the printer, an HP 8100, will not print. Had to buy a HP yellow - then the printer worked. The other cartridges seem to work.Revision:The problem WAS NOT with the yellow ink, but with the printer software or hardware so I cannot give the ink a bad rating. Perhaps a sensor failed or whatever absorbs waste ink filled up. After only a few pages, the HP printer stopped recognizing the HP brand yellow. I replaced it with the yellow I purchased that the printer had previously rejected, and it recognized it - for a few pages, then it stopped again and then did not recognize cyan and black as well as the yellow. I replaced ALL of the ink, and the printer worked and it printed a page, then, after a day of no use, again did not recognize black, yellow, and cyan when I went to print. The problem was NOT with your yellow ink - but apparently with the HP printer software, waste ink storage, or error sensors. It was a very old HP printer that worked well for many years with aftermarket ink, and it has apparently finally died.

I needed ink fast and they had same day delivery. Also, you can’t beat the price! The ink works great. I did have some printer errors pop up but I guess that’s the risk you take when not using the expensive name brand ink cartridges.

These work flawlessly in my HP860. Of course the HP complains that it’s not a genuine HP cartridge. Too bad, the lower your prices HP! Price is excellent on this set. Ink Capacity is the same as genuine. Installation is simple and the same as genuine.

I missed the return window by two days. Warning--price is great and it looks good, but my HP did not accept this. And the reason I bought it was Amazon's recommendation to replace the one I usually buy (unavailable). My old ink just ran out today, so I tried this. Compete failure. Do NOT buy this brand.
