Q: Will the lid comfortably close with the remote control sticks installed?

Yes the sticks will fit with the case closed. It has enough room and it's soft. I also put a microfiber cloth over everything just to wipe stuff off. I also purchased the neck strap and clear glass protector for the screen as well as a landing pad.
