For starters **all those looking for the Silent Mode, it DOES exist. *Press OK-1-OK to activate and deactivate Silent Mode* I found that via YouTube comments on a video**. I included a video in my review to show this. It works pretty well, it’s not perfect but one can’t expect perfection out of a $75 safe, especially not one with features that are usually in safes at least double the price. The keys are well made and work just as well. I personally love that the rechargeable battery is removable and replaceable with a standard size you can find elsewhere (instructions include specific specs for the battery in case you need to replace it). It’s very convenient to have the recharging too rather than having to have batteries on hand. The keypad works great as well, opens very consistently every time with the key pad. Only able to use a 6-digit passcode, I’m not a fan of the lack of ability to change that but again it’s a $75 safe. I don’t mind it, especially since I will primarily use the fingerprint scanner. Speaking of which, the fingerprint scanner works very well for the price. It can be finicky if you have anything on your fingers (whether it’s the oil on your fingers is built up, or you’ve got sweaty hands, etc). But, in my experience so far, it has opened pretty consistently (best results have been with my thumbs personally, but others work too). Make sure when setting up your fingerprints to *follow the instructions*, that is the majority of people having issues with these: not following the set-up directions properly. That being said, it’s fancy for the price, but not too fancy. For a $75 safe, it’s phenomenal and that’s why it has 5 stars for me. It’s very functional and has a lot of great features above its price point. The limitations and mild finickiness I can look over easily considering the price. It will keep people away from accessing your firearms, and let the right people access them consistently. As long as you do your part, both in set-up and knowing how to handle its mild limitations, it will serve its purpose very well for you.

Initial/first couple weeks use: first impression was, this is great. It works well and isn't a cheap box that somebody might try to pry open. After two weeks, I actually love this thing. I use it to store keys to other lock boxes and cabinets that don't have electronic acces. It ensures those keys arent sitting out on a shelf, or laying in a desk drawer or hook where others can easily access them. Only myself amd my wife can get instant, super easy access to these important keys. The passcode option is nice back up to the fingerprint reader and the physical keys are nice for peace of mind (should the box electronics totally fail sometime). This lock box works perfectly for my use. It is so convenient and reliable that I consider one of the best purchases I've made. Here's a tip for anyone having any fingerprint reading failures: set up the passcode and make sure to get several fingerprint readings, not just the minimum 5 that is required. The fingerprint reader is fast and it is very accurate but it still depends on you providing enough variations to reduce misreads or partial reads. This isn't a flaw of the fingerprint reader, it's that people often stick their finger on the reader in different ways everytime they use it and if it's enough of a difference it won't unlock. The solution is recording your fingerprint several times in various positions on the reader. It requires 5 different recordings minimum. I added 5 sets of 5 just of my index finger and each individual recording I made was slightly different. For example, I would offset to the tip, then offset to the right, the left and I would move around then several where I quickly placed my finger on it to mimic real use scenarios (get those kind of recordings). The idea is to cover as many angles and placements of the finger so as to capture the highest percent of likely fingerprints you will present to the reader. This reduces failed instances by a wide margin. I almost never have a failure to read or open when I stick my finger on the reader. - if you are getting failure to open events, simply add more fingerprint angles and placements. It's so easy to add more variations of your fingerprint to the reader. But the answer isn't "it's broken", the answer is add more variations. It's free and you get flawless fingerprint reading.

I am extremely impressed with this BILLCONCH biometric gun safe. From the moment it arrived, the experience felt premium and well thought out. Not only was the Amazon shipping box secure, but the safe itself was packaged in its own high-quality box with thorough internal protection. The presentation of opening it was excellent — everything was neatly organized, cushioned properly, and clearly designed to prevent any damage in transit. It honestly felt like opening a high-end product. The safe itself works flawlessly. The fingerprint scanner is fast and responsive, the digital PIN is easy to program, and having the backup key option provides extra peace of mind. The instructions are clear and you can tell they put thought and effort into them with color, pictures, and details. They care about the user experience. The burgundy red color looks even better in person and blends nicely in a bedroom or nightstand setup without looking overly industrial. It’s the perfect size for a compact firearm and other small valuables, and it feels solid, secure, and well-built. Overall, this is easily a 5-star purchase — excellent security features, great design, and some of the best packaging and unboxing presentation I’ve seen for a product like this. Highly recommend!

Easy to set up, long battery life, and makes the wife fell safe with kids around. Very happy with this, no issues with fingerprints and looks nice!

Very secure. Finger print recognition works flawlessly. It's been over a year and I have yet to change the battery. Every part still works as expected, very easy to install and use.

Purchased this safe to keep on my nightstand. Here are a few of the plus and minuses PROS: The biometric works every time unless I don't press my thumb on it square. (which would be my fault). The latch is well secured when the case is locked. I've seen many handgun safes that the lid can jiggle when closed. This safe is secured well. It fits a compact handgun nicely. I keep my CC handgun in it along with two extra mags and it is easily accessible. The automatic light on the inside is nice when it may be dark and you need quick access. CONS: The keypad needs to have a 6 button code and then you hit OK after the code is entered. That is far too much when you have to get in there in a hurry. If you get flustered in a crunch making a mistake on the code could be a life changing mistake. While the case lid is secured nicely when closed, it could also be jimmied into with a screwdriver or hammer claws if someone really want to get in it. Most safes I have seen this size have the same problem, though. Do not expect to keep a full size handgun in there and have quick access to it. My CC has a 3.5" barrel and fits easily in the safe. However, none of my 4.5-5" barrel weapons are easy to get out quickly. They are very snug in there. In order to get my full size handguns in there I have to put the barrel in first and push it all the way to the side and the put the grip side in. Not the easiest way to get something out you may need in a snap. Also, the pads on the bottom of the safe stained my nightstand permanently. (see picture) I should've probably thought about that before putting it on solid wood, but it's too late to do anything about it now. Overall, I think this is a good safe for compacts and making sure your kids don't get access to your weapon. Biometrics are actually impressively accurate for the price. I hope I never have to rely on using the keypad in a rush. Seven button presses is too many, IMO. My biggest gripe would be the pads on the bottom. I should've looked close before putting it on my solid wood nightstand, so that's my fault. However, would've preferred if they will felt or soft rubber instead of the hard plastic material.

Just as advertised, easy set up and instructions. I need two safes, one for ammo and the other for my gun. Since I only have one just that is what I utilize it for, fits a glock 26 easily and could fit at least two. If you have a long barrel gun you may need a bigger size, but for what I have this is just fine. You can open via a code, key, or fingerprints. A bit heavy so not a safe someone can hide easily and run with. The bottom does contain 4 anti slid rubber pads which makes it easy to stay in place. Modern look almost resembles a cigar humidifier. The unit itself will not bend or if you sit on it become damaged, the metal is sturdy. If you want to silence the unit, it is extremely easy to do so. Highly recommend, easy to access your gun, yet protects others from doing so.

Safe has 3 different locks, pass code,finger, or key. It fits my Smith &Wesson M&P m.2. 2 magazines, and 200 rounds. So a good amount of space. Setup is easy. Doesn't feel like cheap crap. For the price its definitely worth, even better if you can get it on sale.

If youre looking for a safe for 1 pistol with some space for 2 or 3 magazines, this is for you. Setup was pretty easy however there are afew things to know. I tried using my own 18650 with higher capacity but for some reason, it didnt work properly. Probably because it was a protected cell so maybe those unprotected cells will work. Also people reporting that any fingerprint opening the safe is because they likely did not setup the safe properly because that would be the default state but will only open based on your unique fingerprints once it's setup properly. For the price, a good peace of mind to be able to quickly access your firearm as it will save you precious seconds.

Love this small gun safe. Can easily fit in a night stand or desk drawer. Easy setup of password and biometrics. Not heavy in weight. Love the quick access capability. Doesn’t have to be just for guns but valuables.
