Brightly colored
My six year old likes purple food and I hate the taste of food coloring. This makes everything vibrant, the color holds up well regardless of pH, even when baked, and we eat purple bread in this house 🤦♀️ Flavor is mild, have purchased many times and been consistently happy with value/quality

Fun stuff. Quality Ube Powder.
Fun stuff. Seems to be good quality. We haven’t noticed any strong taste of any sort, so we’re primarily playing with it as a fun, natural color with, at least theoretically, some nutritional benefit. We didn’t know that ph levels in your ingredients can have a significant impact on the resulting color. We first made some pancakes that turned out very blue-green (see pics). Doing a little research, our understanding now is that the highly alkaline baking soda, plus the baking powder caused the color to drift to blue-green. If you’re doing green eggs and ham and want to add matching pancakes, this can work! I think I noticed a very slight hint of Ube flavor, compared to the pancakes I made (same batch) without the Ube powder. Maybe. We then made some madalines. They didn’t have baking soda in the recipe, but I’m guessing the baking powder still had an impact. They came out a nice bluish-purple (pics). So, still not the anticipated pink-purple. We cannot taste a difference between those with and those without the Ube (we made both). Didn’t have any issue with mix ability or texture. I also like the fact that it’s apparently a product of the USA. The only Ube powder I was able to find on Amazon that claims USA sourcing and manufacture. It’s kind of fun for a change up and kids would love it.

Easy to use and incorporate into my sourdough
This was great to make my dough a different color and not having to use food coloring. I don’t think it has any taste, the texture was a little more gritty than rice flour but not anything to worry about. I used it to color my sourdough loaf and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. I just sprinkled it on top of my dough prior to baking, so it is very easy to use. It’s good quality as the color didn’t change or fade after baking either.

Love the purple color
I haven't used this product many times—only once or twice so far. I tried it to make a two-color bread, and the purple color it created was beautiful. While the bag isn't large and the price is on the higher side, for my occasional use, this package will last me a long time.

High-quality but wish there was instructions
I do really like this you can tell a high-quality and the taste is good. The only thing I don’t love is that there’s no instructions and as someone who’s a new beginner to using powders for their drink, I use it in my Matcha or my latte that’s a little bit. Frustrating because I have no idea what type of ratio I’m supposed to use or if I’m supposed to use hot or cold when I do use it for a cold foam, it does look comfy, but it doesn’t taste clumpy if that makes any sense because I’m probably using it wrong and I don’t know it, but I do recommend it and for someone who knows what they’re doing. They probably could do it better than me lol but I will continue buying it and recommending it regardless, and I’ll just have to keep learning on the proper way to use it.

My new favorite drink to mix with coffee & milk
I saw some ube advertisements on Facebook but I don’t want other sweeteners or favor, and I want organic. So I searched on Amazon. Glad I found this one made in USA. There is ube made from another country, but I don’t really trust that country. When I first try this on I really like it. I love it even more when I mix with my coffee, milk &cocoa for morning drink. It fills me up and I finish a cup quickly and forgot I already drink it. I love ube in general, so the taste is perfect. It is still powder like, which I don’t mind as long as it is clean and quality product. I don’t know what is different between ube and purple jam, as long as it high in antioxidants or other health benefits.

No Flavor Whatsoever
I added a few table spoons to a batch of oatmeal I made and you cannot taste any sweet potato flavor at all! Like some of the other reviews stated, this only adds color to your dish but NO flavor. That’s why it gets a 1 star from me.

Wouldn't buy it
For the price is okay, it does not have a good smell and the after taste is another problem.
