It does what it says on the tin! It heals and soothes damaged / irritated skin. I was diagnosed with polymorphic light eruptions around my eyes and on chest. I got this alongside the spf50 and they have beeb amazing! Steroids/ random creams by GP did nothing but worsen my condition. glad to have found Ren!

It's a very high quality balm, feels great to put on and very nourishing, smells nice. I'm not sure if it's made that much difference to my skin redness, but I'll keep using it.

Recently ordered this on my friend's recommendation because a product made my cheeks red and sensitive (I have combi sensitive skin, with drier cheeks and chin). I decided to try out 15 ml before investing in a bigger tub, and am pleased to say I was impressed. I put this on over a serum and moisturizer for 3 days in a row and it has considerably reduced my redness and smoothed my skin texture. At 12.99 it is pricey for 15 ml but a little really does go a long way, plus this comes up cheaper than getting it from boots. 100% recommend!

Life saver for dry sensitive skin, couldn't live without this balm now. Perfect for dry Winter skin or on holiday sun kissed dry skin.

I usually love this product it is my go to but the texture feels different from the one I bought in Whole Foods.

I’ve used this a few nights to help chill my skin out after a retinol purge & burn. The pictures were taken 8hrs apart; you can see that this stuff does it’s job in the “calming” department! Keep in mind this is an occlusive mask, so it does have a kind of Vaseline-y feeling to it, but it’s so luxuriously melty that it ends up being more pillow-safe. It’s best to use moisturizer and/or hydrating product(s) beneath it, since this essentially locks those in for the night to increase absorption. I was going for a pretty hefty dose of moisture & calming, so my routine on Ren Mask nights goes like this: cleansing balm, cica serum, hyalurionic acid + polyglutamaic acid, Drunk Elephant’s merula oil, and Tatcha Indigo night mask. I wait about 20 minutes for all of that to sink in before putting this on to hold it in while I sleep. It has an herb-y scent but isn’t overpowering in my opinion. It looks weird and gooey in the jar and is a little difficult to scoop out, especially with warm fingers, as it melts instantaneously. I use enough to get my face nice n oily but not so much that it’s sliding off (just one finger scoop is enough for me). This is something I would recommend for skin that really needs that boost of calming moisture, or for “slugging.” I have acne-prone combination skin, and I find that this helps rather than worsens.

This was an amazing purchase for my dry peaking skin. I’m in tretinoin and this winter has been hard for my skin. I use La Roche usually but I need something a little extra. Literally two nights after using Ren there’s been a big different. Will be getting the bigger bottle next time.

I got this because Sam from H3 recommended it and I did like it, I just didn’t really see any difference after using it. It was just oily and smelled a little too strong for my liking

great for after you dermaplane your face and need to replenish your skin barrier! i use a gentle wash afterwards before putting this product on. i would not advise this for people with very oily skin though
