We installed the SELEWARE 14 Inch Pipe Stair Handrail outside my mom’s door after she had foot and knee surgery, and it has made a world of difference for her. It provides the extra support and stability she needs to safely step up and down without feeling unsteady or relying on someone else. The handrail itself is very sturdy and well-made. Once installed, it felt solid and secure right away. There’s no wobbling or shifting, which is extremely important for anyone recovering from surgery or dealing with mobility challenges. My mom feels much more confident using it, and that peace of mind is priceless. It also looks nice and simple not bulky or out of place so it blends in well with the exterior of the house. Installation was straightforward, and the quality far exceeded my expectations for the price. Overall, this is a fantastic, practical purchase that truly improved her day-to-day life. If you or someone you love needs a little extra support getting up steps or into a doorway, I highly recommend this handrail. It’s strong, reliable, and makes things so much easier and safer.

Solid construction with no separate parts to assemble. Large lag bolts and expansion screws included. Nice, thick handle is easy to grab and the ball end provides a very secure first "grab." I used a 3/16" drill bit to provide pilot holes into a 4x4 redwood post and a M12 metric socket wrench to drive the bolts. A 1/4" pilot hole would probably be OK as well but the bolts were strong enough to not shear off going through the smaller hole. The final installation is very secure and looks great. Two things to note: (1) Both the bolts and expansion screws are listed as being M8 but that refers to the width of the shafts, not the heads. The bolt requires a M12 wrench and the expansion screws need a M14. And (2), a bit of the black coating on the bolt heads came off during assembly so I don't know if that would create a rust opportunity. To prevent that possibility, I touched up the heads with some flat black paint. Overall, an attractive and very functional handrail at a great price. Highly recommended.

The stair handrail is a solid product. The matt finish is powder coated for long and activity oriented wear. It comes with heavy duty screws, as well as anchors. However, in my opinion if someone needs to be using a hand rail, I would not count on the included anchors as a long term solution. You should mount it into a stud, or get a higher weighted set of anchors. With that being said, this is a beautiful and solid piece of equipment.

I have a short wall at the top of my stairs that did not have a hand rail. When my wife and I were younger, this really didn't matter for the last couple of steps but as we got older, we miss having something to hold on to especially if carrying something. I ordered this 26 inch handrail to fill in on the short wall and it workesd out just great. I used a rope tied to the existing handrail and extended it up and across the short wall as a guide to mount the new handrail at the same height and angle. Each end of the new handrail has metal ends with 2 mounting holes. The mounting hardware contained with the rail is very heavy duty with large dry wall plug expanders and large color matching screws. New rail is very sturdy claiming 300lb of strength. This handrail is perfect for our need.

This handrail solved a concern about safety on steps at the front of my house. It was easy to install for my application. However, there was a chip in the paint at the top of the mounting bracket. You can see it in the photo. You may think I should have returned and replaced it and that is fair. However, time to return and replace before company needing the rail was too short to do that. I had paint that exactly matched the black and took care of it that way. It is my recommendation that you check the paint surface before installing.

Nicely made, heavy, a finish looks good. Feels very sturdy in place. Provided mounting hardware also sturdy.

If you need to get a grip on things, this is the grip you should check out, for quality and finish it was perfect for me and my application, the tubing is 1 3/8” diameter and easy to wrap your hands around, people have different reasons for needing a grab handle or a hand rail, I’m using this as a balance bar for rehabilitation from a stroke, I mounted mine on my patio and it looks great, I give it 5 stars for quality and price.

Seem well built, no exposed screws where the wood meets the metal. The included screws and drywall plugs are quite large, which is good. Yes it's best to hit a stud but with these bars the mounting points are set. If these loosen up on you over time in a hollow wall with the included screws and plugs, upgrade to toggle, butterfly or Molly bolts. The 1 star reviews seem unfair for this product, the comments relate to user install issues, not the product or the included hardware. I still bought 11 bars in total to do what I needed to do, I'm satisfied.

Sehr gute Kurzhanfläufe. Robustes Materisl, gute Verarbeitung. Holz schön glatt ohne Mscken, o.ä. Alles benötigte Zubehör wurde mtgeliefert. Wir haben sie sls zusätzliche Haltegriffe an unseren Treppenabgängen, damit wir uns nicht mehr an der Wand abstützen müssen. Sogar mein Mann ist nun froh,dass wir sie montiert haben.
