GU Energy Chews Gummies with Electrolytes, 12 Bags (24 Servings Total) (Blueberry Pomegranate)

Quite good tasting, storage in 90F weather did not result in a mess of them all stuck on the bottom. Five before the ride, then five every 10 miles, seems to help, on an empty stomach it might cause some acid reflux. Of all the flavors, I seem to do the best with the Rainbow, the Watermelon, and this. I'm new to cycling, only putting in about 200 miles a week, I'll report back in if they seem to help for 200 mile/day rides

I’ve been a GU chew customer for a while. They’ve changed their packaging and formula 3 times since I’ve had a subscription on Amazon. I was thrilled with the first batch— large, juicy pods packaged in a sleeve. Then the pods were depleted and powdered, repackaged in a clear sleeve, inside a cardboard sleeve. They no longer fueled us on long, rugged hikes and backpacking trips as the originals had done… and there was excessive packaging (tossed the cardboard as soon as it arrived every month.) Then they repackaged them (same powered pods) in a thicker plastic sleeve without the cardboard. FINALLY, they returned back to something closer to the original pod, and I couldn’t be happier! The fruit snack-type packaging isn’t as ideal as a sleeve when you’re shoving what you need into a backpack, but at least the quality is better.

I take these on my 7+ mile runs, like the taste, some say it's to sweet, but I feel it's ok. You've you never had these make sure you try these on a normal day see how they feel and if your stomach is ok with them also.

Tastier than the strawberry flavor of these energy chews.

Perfect for a pick me up during the 3:00 work slump or giving some energy after a bad nights sleep. As someone who is allergic to food colorings and some preservatives, I have no allergic reactions to these. Just wish they were not so expensive.
