Item does not do as advertised. Must be made of shotty materials as there is so much static on my mic it is essentially unusable.

Cable arrived and immediately the volume control and mic control module had an audible rattle noise. The cable works however there is "pollution" on the microphone meaning when the volume is high enough and I am listening to music the microphone picks up the audio. This was never a problem with the original cable.

After losing my original cable, I bought this replacement despite it having very negative reviews, and I'm surprised! My microphone quality and headphone audio quality stayed the exact same, and so far I've had only one issue which is that for some reason the mute "slider" or something I don't know what to call it, just changes my headphone output into my input so all of my friends can hear what I'm listening too. I never use the mute slider though, so not much of an issue. Honestly, it's pretty funny to be able to have a built in soundboard for anything I'm listening to with just the flick of a switch and I'd rather have it over a mute button that I don't use (since having a discord mute keybind is just more convenient).

Just had it a few days and working great so far.

Well it works for the most part. The main issue is, if I mute my microphone using the switch on the cable, it then will broadcast whatever im hearing. So if im in a voice call with someone, they will hear whatever youtube video im listening to if i mute. Plastic also feels very cheap.
