not worth the money stay away from it
0 would be appropriate yes bought it in August last year, didn't get around to installing it last week and it ruined our freezer. Installation was fairly easy followed the instructions to the letter and the seal would not keep the door closed even after using a hairdryer to soften the leaking areas and using duct tape to put pressure on it it almost ruined all our vegetables and meat ewe had in it. Stay away from it spend the extra few $$$$ to by OEM

Ok, it worked, but took a lot of work to make it work
It served its purpose, but was a big pain to make it work. Not so much the changing of gasket but to get gasket to lay down and seat against the mating surface. I laid gasket out for few days to let it relax in shape. Put it on, and gasket would not mate up to surface of door opening. Carefully used heat gun to relax the bellows of gasket. Worked it all the way around. Seemed to lay down. Came back next day, it pulled away. Redid with the heat gun again in spots that had a gap. Had to repeat about 4 more times over the next few days. But finally seems to be working and sealing now.... if you don't have patience, better hire it done. And not have anything in frig worth loosing.

DO NOT BUY
I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt the need to steer people away from this product. This gasket is very poor quality. Both the material & design are far inferior to the OEM gasket on my Kenmore Elite upright freezer. I installed it anyway to see if it would work... don't waste your time. I followed the Chenglish instructions & taped the gasket, used a heat gun, and left for 2 days...no dice. Another MAJOR issue is that the magnet is super weak, AND it doesn't go all the way to the corners, which are critical. Save your time, money, install labor, and frustration... it's not worth it!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
It arrived in a box and was all waded up, as expected. I laid seal flat on a carpeted floor in a hot attic (Texas) for 7 weeks. I gave it plenty of time to relax and it appeared great. After removing the original seal, I immediately noticed that the new aftermarket seal is about 1/4โ thinner. I went ahead and installed it and I could slide a credit card along 50% of the edges with absolutely no resistance. If you let go of the credit card, it just falls to the floor. I ended up removing the new gasket and putting the old one back on. At this point my return option had lapsed. So I blew $40.

Fits very well
It fits as advertised and was easy to install if you follow instructions and take your time to install.

Works as required
The movers damaged our upright freezer (Kenmore Elite), denting the door and causing the old gasket to not seal properly. We still have a slight gap in one spot (due to the dents), but this fixed the overall problem of not sealing. We no longer get ice build up on all of the shelves. The freezer is once again working as needed! It was not difficult to replace, at least no more than other freezer door gaskets we have installed in the past.
