2 bags included, I ordered more from Amazon. The new packet included 10. This is my parents and they love it. They have always had Electrolux. My mom vacuums every single day and this is the only one that holds up to the many hours of use.

I use it on my hardwood floors. It comes with a standard nozzle with a brush that works well. There is also a motorized rug attachment which I do not use because I have antique carpets.
