This spray is good for preventing a reoccurring problem, after you kill the live ones and eggs with high-heat steam. **Q: Is this safe round infanst and pets** A: Just to be on the safe side, I would make sure pets and infants aren't in the treated area, when actually being treated. However, I haven't seen any side effects in my dog. **Q: What is the difference between ortho home defense indoor and perimeter2 and the ortho home defense max?** A: I was about to write a review as I use both products, and saw this question and decided to give a valid answer as others may want to know. They are basically the same product as mentioned, however they have different uses and different chemicals/amounts for that purpose. While ortho is good inside the home, MAX is better used outside the home (and inside) but in order to benefit from it you need to spray it on hard surface next to your house, tile, concrete doors, windows ect. That is why I am lining my home with 2-3 ft of crushed white rock or concrete because in order to be effective the surface needs to be 1) solid for the MAX to stick to and 2) smooth and at least 12IN for the spiders/pests to cross. But as I stated I use both Ortho inside and MAX around the outside and the MAX does provide 12 months of protection while the Ortho I believe is only 3 months. **Q: Is this for inside of the home only, in other words is this for outside and inside and if only one do i need a different spray for the other?** A: I use both inside and outside. It is clear and does not stain or stink. Inside I only do exterior doors and window sills although you can do baseboards as well. Initially got this delivered with a broken handle but Amazon sent a replacement within a day. Thanks Amazon for that! Also, this product’s design is so convenient to use as it comes with an electric sprayer and included battery, so it’s ready to use. The nozzle has 2 adjustable levels for the spray quantity. Tried it in my garage and porch, I can see the effectiveness and results the next day itself as the bugs are dead. They’ve included the list of bugs it can kill in the attached booklet and that’s a lot! They’ve mentioned that it’s safe to use indoor as well, there’s no bad odor, stickiness or messy marks left behind.
