This little guy will hold very heavy loads and the value for the money you can even buy two. I have dual ultrawides, the ease of installation and the performance it was a no brainer. No cable management needed to use it. Review: Best value for the size - As far as I'm aware, bigger is better in terms of using a reinforcement plate to spread out the weight from a monitor arm. Prices may change but similar sized plates where roughly 1.5x the price. I cannot attest for the quality when compared to said plates but can only, hopefully, assume that steel = steel. The only downside is the aesthetics of having a large plate, which for me is negated by having a black deck, using a mat to partially cover the front, and by simply using the the plate + mount as desk space that is still available for use (I bought two reinforcement plates for a dual arm set up). With the downsides mostly negated it seems like a no brainer to choose this over similarly priced, but significantly smaller, reinforcement plates for peace of mind as that is the primary reason to get this in the first place. ## Features - Protect Desk-The reinforcement plate for C clamp distributes the stress of the mount to protect the desktop and avoid damage and scratches, especially for fragile desktops, such as thin deskss, expensive desks with soft decorations on the desktop, also compatible with Ikea particle board. - Reinforcement for Monitor Mount-the monitor mount reinforcement plate makes it possible for monitor arm to be installed on the tempered glass desk. And it is a better way for c clamp installation for 3 monitor desk mount, 4 monitor mount. - Increase Stability for Monitor Mount-The reinforcement plate expands the base area to the desktop. Heavier duty monitor arm or dual monitor stand, triple monitor mount will be more sturdy even on a thin desk. It creates a stable and efficient work environment even when typing. - Easy to Use-Aligning the bracket to the desk and then the reinforcement plate will become a part of the desk. It is compatible with almost all c clamp of computer monitor mount. - High quality and Purchase Support -2 anti-slip pads coming with the package help to protect the desktop and avoid scratches. Reinforcement is Made of high-quality steel, sturdy and durable. And the size of the steel plate is enough to protect the desk. At the same time, it won't take much space of the desk. What an affordable solution for your workspace. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08XZ6CJFG | | Best Sellers Rank | #271 in Computer Monitor Arms | | Brand | MOUNTUP | | Brand Name | MOUNTUP | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 294 Reviews | | Item Dimensions | 11 x 7 x 1 inches | | Item Weight | 2.2 pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 11 x 7 x 1 inches | | Manufacturer | MOUNTUP | | Manufacturer Part Number | MU0038 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 3-year | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Model Number | MU0038 | | Mounting Type | Tabletop Mount | ## Product Details - **Brand:** MOUNTUP - **Color:** Black - **Item Weight:** 2.2 pounds - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 11 x 7 x 1 inches - **Material:** Alloy Steel ## Images ![MOUNTUP Monitor Mount Reinforcement for Tempered Glass Desk, Monitor Arm Plate, Steel Bracket for Thin and Most Fragile Table, for Desk C Clamp Installation of Monitors Stand - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61j0zqYvu3L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How thick are the plates?** A: I don't have exact measurements but they are only maybe 1/3 of a cm thick or so. However they are very sturdy, and I believe the bigger one (that mounts on top) if not also the bottom one have a soft surface that contacts the desk, so a tiny bit of added thickness there. **Q: Any experience in having this product on a glass desk?** A: Hi there, our product is supported for use on glass desk. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further concerns. **Q: Does this include the clamp? I need the plates and the adjustable clamp** A: It only has the plates. No clamp included. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dont want your table to break or suffer? then buy it *by B***R on June 18, 2024* For those pc setups with multiple monitors like myself, you need a very sturdy arm to hold them.
