Colorista 1-Day Washable Temporary Hair Color Spray, Silver, 2 Ounce

I'm 77 years old and I have that "two-tone" kind of long gray hair. You know, the kind where the front and bangs are lovely and soft and grayish-white-silver but the back is a mousy brown!! I have tried so many ideas to get the back even just a little bit in synch with the front. Even professionally they couldn't promise me anything. This product has been a real find as I can just spray on strands of "highlights" which bring the front and back of my hair in harmony. I love it.

I have naturally silver hair, which for the past two years I have been having colored golden blonde. My stylist wouldn't bleach all the red tones out so I went elsewhere, they tried but there is still too much "yellow" for my liking. So as not to ruin my hair by another processing treatment ( they have done 2) I decided I would try this product. The way I use it is I pick a tiny section of my hair and spray it as a highlight , wait for it to dry completely then after applying another brand of instant spray in a titanium color underneath, I get the biolage look I wanted. Yes this product does dry stiff,, could be becuase I hold the can only 2 inches away, but for a more natural look it is simply resolved by a light brushing . I have no mess in my bathroom, but I do hold the spray very close to my hair. I was recently in the hospital and several of the young nurses complimented my hair. It shimmers and helps hide the yellow tones that I was trying to remove. I have not sprayed it all over my head, just random highlights all over. It does not rub off on my pillow and stays until I wash my hair, even after applying products and brushing daily. The only thing that removes it is a shampooing.

I am a teacher and was able to use this for the 100th day of school! I dressed as an old lady haha. It was super easy to put on and super easy to wash out. I do recommend putting a towel around your neck so it doesn’t get on your clothes! I got two cans just in case I needed them.

I purchased it for the 100th school day for my daughter, to dress up like an old lady. It is definitely silver, and not grey. It did the job. Got her hair silver/grey looking (see pictures, I did not spray a lot) her natural hair is dark brown. However, it stains EVERYTHING it touches, it basically rubs off on anything. My daughter told me all her friends who tried to touch her hair got silver hands, it got all over my hands and the brush. It was also not easy to wash out. You can see on the last photo, even after a wash, there were still grey streaks left in my daughter’s hair (she does have thick hair though)

Does rub off but is quite pigmented and can cover my dark original hair pretty well. Good for half day dress up.

Don't use it on formerly blonde hair as it can make your hair look purple; also do a test first to see how it interacts with your hair colour. I love it and use it all the time, but one of my friends who also has white hair, but is a former blonde, it did not react well with her hair colour at all. I don't need to order it any more from Amazon because it is now available easily at Shoppers Drug Mart stores.

Brunette going grey. I use this to blend the transition a bit and hide the brass. It does that very well but it leaves a super fine sparkle to anything your hair touches I.e. coat collar, shoulders. I suggest spraying while in the tub too so it doesn’t get on the floor.

We used it for comic con it worked perfectly on dark hair ( dark auburn)
