Best of its kind this reviewer knows of
These archival storage boxes are the best I know of. They are rigid, clean, and help organize precious documents for home, office, or your personal library. I have trouble opening them because of the metal in the hinges, but it's good that they don't just fall open willy-nilly. This one comes pre-assembled. The Lineco boxes seem pricey, but for what they are, I believe they are worth it. They hold more because they are made in extra-standard sizes, and they are weighty, substantial, thick cardboard.

easy to use with accurate sizing
There were different sizes available, and this was easy to open and close without wrinkling pages. We have several older newspapers from the end of WWII, the Kennedy assassination, and the first moon landing/walk that we need to save for the next generation. This is a sturdy box for saving artifacts, and time will tell if the archival quality is good enough.

Almost perfect
Exactly what I expected. Great quality and very nice. The only hiccup is that for 18x24" art that's in a protective cover - such as a Krystal Seal bag, there's a bit of a tight fit and maybe a bit of a pinch - particularly in the 18" direction. If it was 1/4" deeper (to accommodate 18.5"-wide art+bag it'd be ideal.

Perfect box!
I give "time capsules" as baby gifts. These time capsules include magazines and newspapers as well as other items and these boxes fit the magazines and newspapers very well. Very nicely made with heavy paper and good colors. This is the 3rd time I've purchased these boxes.

A Good Product.
I am using some colored archival storage boxes to distinguish certain photographic projects from the standard tan boxes as I have more than 35 boxes of various sizes.

Expected better
Sadly, this box sucked. I expected better but using it only two times to bring my portfolio to class and the box started ripping at the seams. Thanks Amazon for your return policy. I am still looking for something to store my portfolio, any suggestions?

Not a Good Purchase
It was probably a fluke but the product arrived with a hole punched in the top about the size of a quarter. How did no one see that when packing it? What happened to quality control? I returned it for a refund. This was a bad purchase.
