## Questions & Answers

**Q: Seems a bit tight in the pleats. Should I remove the two horizontal threads across the pleats?**
A: Yes, you’re supposed to cut the threads.

**Q: Did you go up a waist size to be safe?, Im a 34 should i go 36?**
A: Yes I tried a 34 and I couldn’t even fasten it. So I bought a 38 and it’s too big at its tightest. I would go with the 36 as it has about 2 inches of adjustment.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Release the pleats!
*by S***5 on 15 December 2020*

Extremely pleased with this lightweight kilt. Having never bought a kilt before, but having worn hired kilts, I was surprised at how narrow it was when worn. I contacted the seller who advised that there are two horizontal threads across the pleats at the rear, to hold them in place during transit. Once these had been snipped, removed and the pleats released, the kilt looks just as good as a full, heavyweight one. It doesn't fall quite the same due to only consisting of 5 yds of material, but it is a lightweight kilt, after all. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the purchase.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Product was exactly as described

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Quality kilt
*by I***N on 23 March 2021*

Kilt arrived earlier than expected and is a good fit. The only reason it didn't get five stars was that one of the belt loops came unstitched when putting the belt through but that is an easy fix.
