Towel warmer works great and was a breeze to hang.

Customer service for Heatgene responded within 12 hours to my email submission. They are shipping a replacement product. I am impressed with their response to a problem. -------------------------------------------------- Dangerously Hot Towel Rack - faulty wiring We have sent in a request to the seller for a new rack as this one is faulty. It heats up to a point that burns the skin and potentially sets towels on fire. Even when the rack is off, it is still warm to the touch. We believe that we have a faulty unit and have requested a replacement.

The installation instructions were barely acceptable. No extra hardware was included despite several tiny little screws. The color is NOT bronze, its flat brown. Sadly, I had already installed bronze hardware and it clashes now. Installation was a chore, and the metal doesnt line up flush with the wall, ostensibly due to poor QA. Then you end up using the heater, which I prewarmed two normal towels on, exactly as shown in the picture, for an hour. Got out of the shower, and the towel was only warm in one spot, where it directly hung from the rung of the heater. The rest of the towel was barely any warmer. This product, based on the materials, quality of build and results of use should be $80. Not $350. I would demand a refund if I had not already drilled 4 holes in my freshly remodeled bathroom.

We tried it before we were about to install it and we were glad we did. The bars got hot but really just didn’t transfer to warm towels. Returned item and bought a bucket warmer that really warms towels amazingly well and was a lot cheaper to boot.

The unit does not come with hardwire mounts so I had to install it with an outlet and exposed wire. Apparently you can buy the hardwired panel separately and make it work but I don't know why they wouldn't just include it. Also I can't find any timer function mentioned in the Rate Features section.
