I am in the middle of a sourdough frenzy! I had a very small La Creuset Dutch oven from a garage sale, I wanted another for baking bread bowls, but not at that price point so I ordered this. It came today and I could not be happier. Beautiful color and craftmanship! The handle for the lid is metal not plastic. It is a decent size for a small loaf, enameled inside and out. It is rare that a product eclipses a famous brand but this seems so much better quality. I am sold and will be looking at this brand seriously for future purchases.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I’m so happy with this 9 quart cast iron dutch oven! It was a fraction of the cost of a similar Le Creuset pot and I can’t perceive how this is noticeably inferior based on price, looks or functionality to the more expensive Le C. Also, Im very happy the enamel coating doesn’t stick or discolor when making a large pot of spaghetti sauce and meatballs. As the picture shows, I can make an extra large vat of doggy stew that will last a week and the pot cleanup is fast and effortless.

This is the cutest little pot ever. The 2.5 quart in bright green is just perfect for baking the Bittman Bread recipes I am currently enjoying. I’ve only had it for a week, but it seems to be sturdy, well-made and works great for my breads. I have Le Creuset and Staub too, and this little lesser-known brand seems to work as well for a much more reasonable price.

Beautiful pan. I have the expensive brand in a bigger sizes. This one is equally as good as Le Creuset

I love this dutch oven. Perfect size for 1 or 2 people. The enamal lets me cook tomato based dishes with no fear of it stripping the seasoning. It's super easy to clean too. And it's heavy, like you expect good cast iron to be. I got the 5 qt 1st, and liked it so much I got this one too.

The Dutch oven is great. Reason for 4 stars , the first one received the handle was cracked and lid chipped paint off. The replacement was overnighted and the original was sent back. It was just the inconvenience of having to take it to UPS store.

I bought two at the same price point, essentially. I only returned this one because I liked the other a little better based on personal need for larger handles. Though the handles are not small, the others were just a little bigger. This is a really great product for the price though.

Really impressed with this Dutch oven. It feels very sturdy and well-made, and the heat distribution is excellent—everything cooks evenly, from stews to roasts. The size is perfect for family meals, and the lid fits tightly, keeping all the moisture and flavour inside. It’s also easy to clean and looks beautiful in the kitchen with its classic design. Great value for money compared to more expensive brands. Highly recommend!

perfekt für one Pot

Der Topf nimmt sich nichts von den Marken Produkten. Schöner schwerer Gusseisen und Emaille. Nach einem halben Jahr löste sich an einer kleinen Stelle die Emaille.(Produktionsfehler) Ich habe die Firma kontaktiert und muss den sehr netten und kompetenten Service erwähnen. Er wurde anstandslos ausgetauscht. Jetzt hoffe ich, genauso lange Freude daran zu haben, wie bei den anderen Töpfen und Pfannen, die auch von vancasso sind. Es muss nicht immer teuer sein!
