Huge time saver. Can't tell you what a difference it makes in meal prep!2. No difference in taste or aroma vs mincing with knife. I used to be dogmatic about mincing garlic the old fashioned way, convinced that garlic presses just mash the garlic and prematurely releases the aroma compared to slicing/mincing with a sharp knife. Well, since using this I can't tell the difference and even if I could, the small difference in taste wouldn't be worth all the time I save from using this press. I've got places to go and things to do, people!3. Cleans so easily. The holes on this are slightly larger than the presses I've used before and seen in other people's kitchens, so bits don't get stuck in the holes too much. And since its stainless steel, there is no residual garlic smell after rinsing with just water.Here's an important tip to using garlic presses that I hadn't known before but made a huge difference in performance: DONT PEEL THE GARLIC BEFORE PRESSING! That's right. LEAVE THE PEEL ON!When the peel is left on, you get maximum garlic out of the press, and it makes it super easy to clean when you lift out the peel. The peel stays put inside the press. You will still need to occasionally scrape off garlic bits from the press to get the most garlic off of it, but just scrape it against the edge of a pot or bowl, or run the back of a knife against the press.Lastly, it looks beautiful with sleek curvy lines, no sharp edges and high gloss shine.
