I love this blanket every day, and have used it all around multiple living spaces over the 3+ years I have had it. These things are very subjective, but I took a chance on this one when I was specifically looking for the following: a blanket light enough to use alone as a summer blanket for bed or to layer over colder months, soft enough for bare skin, breathable, large enough for a king size bed but still able to grab as a couch blanket, blue, and HOPEFULLY durable enough to wash often without becoming an ugly mess from cheap fabric damage. I was expecting it to fit some of those categories and then maybe fall apart after a short time, but here I am over 3 years later writing an Amazon review because I appreciate this blanket so much and it has held up wonderfully. The plaid pattern and the colors are comforting anywhere in the home, it is as soft as can be, the entire blanket has a wide satin border that is still shiny, smooth, attractive, and barely shows any pilling. It's just a solid, well-constructed light blanket for literally any purpose, and has been my favorite for several years now. One side has slightly less vibrant coloration, but that just makes me want to flip it to the other side and enjoy it, which I'm happy to do.

I purchased this blanket to replace two (2) down blankets that I used on my King-sized bed. While I really enjoyed the warmth and comfort of down, I developed a severe cough and allergy to it. I researched the recommendations from the allergy experts and found that this was the most frequently type of blanket recommended to reduce allergy symptoms. It was very reasonably priced compared to the down products, so I decided to try it. It is extremely warm, soft, and well-made with a generous fit and has satin-finished edges all around. While providing warm and comfort, it's light as a feather, thus reducing the extra bulk of the the down blankets.The Wedgewood Blue is a beautiful soft hue that blends perfectly with the blue/white/yellow color scheme in the room. While I am not claiming medical benefits to any bed linen product, I can tell you that my cough all but stopped in the absence of the down products.I am extremely pleased with this product and would not hesitate to recommend it or give it as a gift.

I didn't expect to keep this blanket because it's not super thick BUT I have to say it's very soft, warm, and it's larger than expected. Also, the color is true to what's shown online. It's a keeper.

Experienced using this blanket at an VBO unit and finally found a nice blanket that was light weight yet provided just the right amount of warmth with the top sheet. Checked the tag for company and promptly ordered one for my home. Only disappointment was that they were unable to ship a king size. I did order a Queen/full and it works just fine on our king size bed. It washes beautifully and looks and feels great.

This blanket is soft, but aren't they all? It's very thin, not paper thin but really not too good for winter. It might make a decent couch blanket but you'd still probably have to have some heat on in the house. It's fine for summer, I'm sure. If I still lived up north I would return it but I'm down south now and want a lighter blanket for the couch in spring and summer. I was hoping it would be a bit thicker but no, it's only a summer blanket, really. I wouldn't put it on my bed except if I lived in the deep south with a sheet underneath or simply as a topper blanket if one night happened to be particularly cold. It doesn't fuzz up or pill, so far; I've washed it once. I didn't notice any chemical smell when it first arrived and it seems to be well sewn/constructed. If you live up north you might want to pass on this, I would.

The blanket is a nice, soft winter weight polar fleece. The blue is pretty, not an insipid baby blue. The satin edging is terrible. It's rough to the touch. The ribbon on the packaging was nicer than the edging on the blanket. I love satin edged blankets so this spoiled it for me. On sale, it's a nice guest blanket.

Wanted a light weight blanket for our king bed. Portion sizes are generous, tucks in nicely and weight is very light and just right for our needs.
